$1.36 for each t-shirt is pretty good. I fluctuate between XL and XXL, and even though I'm currently more of an XXL, this still fits pretty well while showing just a bit of chub. It's loose just enough. The length of the sleeves is pretty short which I thought would be a bad thing, but it's actually wide enough that it doesn't suffocate your arms and they're ever so slightly free to breathe.When you first open up the 4-pack, they're all wrinkled as expected. I haven't put them through a wash yet but I tried one one beforehand. At 100% cotton I expect them to shrink a little after being put in the dryer a few times, but if you hang some of your clothes, you can just hang these as well if you're worried about them shrinking.Overall, if you're pretty toned I would say this fits as expected. But if you have some chubs like I do, one size up will be comfortable even after it goes through the wash and is put in the dryer once.It actually feels very comfortable to wear. It's not too hard and thick like some shirts, and it's not too soft either. I honestly don't see much personal use of the pocket section other than maybe a membership car or even your car keys, but I would think feeling your keys on your left chest is a bit uncomfortable.Overall I recommend this at $5. Even at $10. $15 is a bit questionable as I don't feel they are must-haves to your wardrobe, but they are pretty nice and I will surely be using them.

Good report - We love the shirts and they fit and look greatBad report (for Hanes - not Amazon) I contacted "Hanes" and let them know that the the words "Assorted Colors" on top of the package is misleading because the shirts enclosed in the package are all black not assorted colors which is what we wanted. We first saw the same package in a store which I brought home and noticed then that the package said "assorted colors" so I thought they weren't all black so I returned them to the store and then went online to Amazon and ordered them. Your description online said they were black, but when I received the package from Amazon, again on the top left corner of the package it said "Assorted Colors". I then said there must me a mistake but we opened the package anyway and they were all black. This incident caused alot of unnecessary inconvenience because of the color description on the package so I alerted Hanes..

The held their color, they are comfortable. They hold up to washing. They hold their shape.

Held up, not hot. Fading was not a big issue if washed correctly.

I should've returned these. If you're a thin person who isn't ordering XXL t-shirts, this review doesn't apply to you. The shirts fit fine, except that they're too short. When you have a fat gut, shirts ride up. If these shirts were 4-6" longer, they'd be great. That's an estimate; I'm not a tailor. Now I have pocket tees that I will only wear under other stuff. I didn't realize they were that short until after I washed them. I can't fault the entire garment, but anyone who makes XXL garments should know that they need to be considerably longer.

I purchased a 4-pack of these ComfortSoft Pocket T-Shirts around 3 years ago. Now, I’ve purchased two more 4-packs because they’re great. They truly are soft and comfortable from the start and only get better with every wash. They also stay dark/black for a long time. My original 4-pack from 3years ago is only slightly less black than my new T’s. Also, 3 years ago I purchased a pack of Hanes Nano Pocket T-Shirts and those have turned into a obviously faded black look. The Nano T’s just looked old around 1 year or use.The pocket on these ComfortSoft T’s is also well sized. It hold a iPhone 11 ProMax securely while not moving around excessively. Basically I would use the pocket to hold my phone while running or jumping. The only slight downside to these Comfort T’s is that the stitching of the bottom of the pocket may come undone if used to hold a larger phone like and iPhone 11proMax. I’ve had an iPhone Plus/Max size since My original pack of T’s and the pocket stitching only started to become undone on a couple of them after a 1-2years. I’d say it really will vary on an individual’s usage.I wore my original T’s regular/daily. Seriously, I only wear black and those shirts have gotten a lot of consistent use over the years. This is why I decided to get more. I’m confident these new shirts will serve me well for years.Overall these shirts are great and I highly recommend.

It's a little thin right out of the package. For the price not so thin as to take a star off. It fits great. I'm wearing it now as I write the review. Hopefully it gets even better after a few washes with the feel of the shirt (good shirts get better with each wash).
