Globe Electric 64845 Nate 3-Light Pendant, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Clear Glass Shades, Bulb Not Included

The fixture came about two weeks after I sent the order much faster than the 5 to 6 weeks delivery advertised (a pleasant surprise)The fixture was packaged neatly and securely in Styrofoam packaging material inside 2 cardboard boxes. Assembly was pretty straight forward, as there were 3, 10" threaded rods with the wire running through them as they were not connected inside the package. I removed 1, 10" section, trimmed the wire accordingly and proceeded with the installation. The fixture took about 15 minutes to assemble. The only issue I noticed with the fixture was that one of the porcelain sockets that you screw the bulb into was not perfectly straight and I was afraid to try to bend it back into place in fear that it would snap off in my hands. I completed the installation, screwed in the bulbs and thankfully it was not noticeable upon completion.I installed the fixture in front of a 6 foot half round window inside our new enclosed back porch and it has given the area just the right touch. I didn't bother with those expensive "vintage bulbs" but instead bought regular 60 watt clear glass light bulbs from the Home Depot and installed a dimmer switch and they look absolutely wonderful.I feel the price was right, the quality seems good and the parcel arrived earlier than expected and smartly packaged. In my humble opinion this was a good value for a unique light fixture.I hope this helps and good luck with your decision.

Incredible find. I am renting and have hated the dining light fixture since I moved in last year. Upon signing my new lease I decided to replace it. This is absolutely perfect for my space, similar size as the old light but much more modern. The lamp part itself is a teensy bit bigger than I expected. I wired and hung the lamp independently- it was not difficult at all despite not having great instructions. My only complaints: The "white" wire was not white, nor was there anything depicting which was which. In mine, the "white" wire had a small tag (but nothing on the tag stating that it was the "white" wire) on it which after testing and confirming helped me differentiate to wire it appropriately. Secondly, one of the ceramic areas around the light socket had cracked in shipment- It is a non-functional area as far as electrical (it holds the globe) so I was pretty easily able to super glue it back together and now have no issues. Outside of that, great light. Would definitely buy again.

We struggled on deciding if the 3 bulb option would be bright enough, but ultimately this comes down to the bulbs you choose. I love the look of the light. Construction is reasonably sturdy and it was easy to install. Everything needed was in the box. I initially installed 2300k bulbs to give it more of the 'edison' look, but I found the orange color from the light didn't provide as many lumens as I would like and it contrasted quite starkly with the rest of our main floor lighting. After changing the bulbs to more traditional 2700k bulbs, it is perfect. We have it on a dimmer so romantic candle light effect can be set, or for game nights, everything is well lit. The glass casings seem a bit cheap and I would guess might break easily, however they arrived well packaged and it is unlikely anything will knock them. Over all, my wife and I are very happy with the purchase. We looked at similar options in the local hardware store and prices were $200-$250.

I have been thinking about this lamp for a couple of weeks. After I set up my dining room, I bought it. When I opened the box I knew I made the right decision, based on esthetics. I installed it myself. It was very easy and didn't take more than 15 minutes. So here's my experience:Pros: Gorgeous light! It looks great over my dining table. My new dining room is farmhouse style. I followed the size guidelines by several design websites and chose the three light size. I hanged it with all 3 rods, and it is the perfect height above the table with an 8 foot ceiling.Cons (and there are many): Once I got the light installed, I saw several things I didn't notice before. 2 of 3 porcelain lightbulb bases were bent noticeably. When I put the bulbs it, it only got worse. I tried to gently bend the porcelain into place, but as another review said, I was afraid I'd break them. There was a dent in the center metal 'shade'. It is quite noticeable since it's on the front of the lamp. The short rod that goes into the center metal 'shade' is also bent. Again, I tried to bend it gently into shape. Because of the location, it didn't budge. There was no damage to the shipping boxes either. Quality control is obviously lacking.The lamp was very securely package: styrofoam, inside the product box, inside a protective box (both tight fitting) inside a shipping box with padding protection. I called Amazon and they made everything right. They are sending a replacement light.I also ordered Edison bulbs in two different wattages, one in amber in 40w, and the clear in 60w. The maximum wattage for this light is 60. Using the Edison bulbs was a major reason I picked this light. I've been aching to get a fixture where I could use them! With these bulbs, the light level in the room is too low. It would be wonderful for a romantic dinner, however this is the only lighting I have in the dining room. We use the room for other things besides eating (laptop, etc.,) and the visibility isn't acceptable. :( I'm all about design and fashion, but In this case I have to go with function first. I'm going to have to use regular bulbs, which defeats a big reason for choosing this light. I may put it in another room that has other lighting.UPDATE:Amazon took care of the issues I had with the original lamp by sending out a new one. The second light received was not packaged as well as the first, minus the outside box and extra packing material. Ironically, the metal portions of the lamp looked great. All the glass 'shades' were broken, however. I just used the shades from the first lamp and after about -5 minutes the lamp was installed and looks great! I would advise getting LED bulbs for this as well. I'm impressed with how much additional light they provide. I'm also changing my review from 2 stars to 4. The light is great and Amazon's customer service is even better!

You had a choice of 3 options for how low the fixture would be. Looks great and my kitchen has good overhead direct lighting over the table
