I have noise sensitivity in one ear and have trouble getting foam ear plugs to go in my ear properly. I was looking for an alternative and these are a great reusable silicone alternative. I love that there are two pair of each size, extra small small, medium, and large. I've been wearing one in my ear all day at work for a week, and it doesn't irritate my ear at all. I wash it off with dish soap and let it air dry overnight. I had tried LOOP earplugs with no luck. Since my goals is NOT to eliminate noise, I can't speak to that, but this has been great for eliminating a kind of echo which my doctor thinks is a result of fluid in my middle ear. Great value for money with these, and whatever sizes you don't use you can give to a friend!

Excellent vaule for very soft silicone material, appealing appearance, construction, and effectiveness. Excellent value in getting two sets of earplugs in VS, S, M, and L sizes (total of 16 plugs). Very surprised, they are extremely effective in blocking out heavy traffic noise (I-95 less than a quarter mile away). Best nights of sleep in years and very comfortable to wear as if not there. Plugs must be positioned properly in ear canal (as shown in card enclosed with nice packaging) to be fully effective. Comes with two mini travel cases; but adding a key chain attachment would be good. Be careful, these plugs are tiny and could be easily lost. You could attach a thin string to the earplugs' loops to avoid losing them. Highly recommend. Much better than more expensive foam and semi-rigid types of earplugs.

I didn't always have sensitive hearing but when I was in my mid 20s I recognized that loud noises and high pitched sounds "hurt". Also background noises became distracting and without noticing that I was doing it; I would drown out the background noise with music. Well, as a health care provider I can't really stick headphones into my ears to drown out all the noises from medical equipment. I needed something that would block enough sound to help me concentrate but still hear important alarms. I also wanted something that would be good quality and not break the bank. I decided to try these ear plugs out. I purchased the purple color. At first, I tried them out at work. They definitely Block alot of background noise. You can hear conversations but they are muffled so I don't have them in when I need to talk to someone. I honestly very rarely use them at work and find that I use them more at home or when I am out and about for activities. Just to give an example of how good they work, I had to reinstall my fire detector but they are so loud!!! At first i wasn't using them and the sound was so piercing I had to climb down the ladder and take a breath. But then I remembered my purple ear plugs!! I grabbed them and put them in and it was like i was immune to the sound! I could still hear the sound it was extremely faded and muffled and I was able to install the fire detector. I also work at night so I do sleep during the day when people are staring their day. I've used them when my neighbors mow their lawns or their outside dog decides to bark for 4 hours straight. They are especially helpful on my off days when I sleep with my husband who uses a Cpap machine. For the most part it's quiet and doesn't bother me but if he turns a certain way and the mask gets repositioned it can produce a very loud whooshing sound like air blowing down a tunnel. So they really help with loud noises and annoying background sounds. I don't go to concerts so I couldn't comment on how well they would be for that. I wouldn't wear them without someone being with you if you have to wear them while walking in a busy area like downtown while crossing a street or a festival. We still need our hearing to in certain situations to protect ourselves! I give these 4 out of 5 because they do the job for the price. I took 1 star off because even though it boasts 16 pairs. It's really only like 3 or 4 because the ear bud sized are large, medium, small, extra small. It would be more bang for the buck if you could choose your size and get 16 pairs of the size you wear. I would purchase again and I highly recommend for the price and quality! I've had these for a couple of months already and they do not irritated my skin and they have not gotten stuck in my ear. I like the little pull tab it is easy to place and remove from the ear. I've had foam ear plugs get stuck in my ear and with these I don't have that anxiety. I highly recommend!

I'm such a light sleeper and every noise would wake me. I put these in at night and I can actually 1. Sleep much longer and 2.get a much deeper sleep. I have small, VERY sensitive ears. I've tried other earplugs (silicone and wax) that just made my ears extremely sore. These don't! Bcz it comes with so many sizes, I'm able to get a custom fit. I'm so happy I took a chance on these! 10/10

This ear protection is something I would use in an environmentally loud environment like in proximity to a jackhammer or at a construction site. Or in a dense crowd. Something like that. But I needed it for a range application and I found it less effective with gunfire. Amazon sells a little plastic case filled with wax plugs in sets of two. Those worked well for MY needs, but I kept this product as well in case I find a situation where I might need them and I always carry a set with me. Example: Once I went to the movies and discovered the sound level was excruciatingly over powered. Rather than complaining to management, I just slipped these from my cargo pocket and put them in. Perfect sound.

I wear earplugs nightly for various reasons. These are the most comfortable earplugs that I've ever tried (and I've tried many.) I use an orthopedic pillow so most of the time I have to take my earplugs out in the middle of the night because my ears get very sore. Sleeping on my earplugs is out of the question for this reason also. But these guys are so soft, silky, flexible and unnoticeable I forgot I even had them in. I'm able to sleep on my side without having to take these earplugs out. These earplugs are also extremely effective. I live next to a very loud, busy road, that's even louder with the windows open. These earplugs blocked out the sounds almost completely (ambulance, trains, screeching tires, crazy neighbors, ect.) I feel they reduce noise BETTER then traditional foam plugs. I'm someone who is a light sleeper and is startled incredibly easily so this product is a game changer! I'm so happy I took the gamble and purchased these. They would be great for the firing range, concerts, car races, airplanes, ect. They even give you a second pair and like 16 tips which I wasn't expecting. Now, all they need to do is make an earplug connector compatible with these earplugs
