Loved how comfortable it felt and water resistant

After a month of our, at the time 6 pound, preemie sleeping in the FP Soothing View bassinet, the thin manufacturer mattress began to crater in and wasn’t soft at all. I searched and searched for the perfect replacement and found it in this mattress. It’s thick and firm, but not too firm. No craters to be found after 2 months or any indication that there will be. Search no more and go ahead and buy this.

Very happy with the quality of this product and the comfort level provided to our newborn. Just a word of caution, be sure to check the correct size to ensure it will fit as intended. Very good product.

Literally a lot more narrow than described, didn’t fit my bassinet. I bought it because I watched a tik tok that bought this same mattress 5 months ago for the same bassinet as mine, except I think they changed them somewhere in between these last five months because it looks completely different from the tik tok that I saw, here actually fit and it was actually the 2 inches thick. Wasn’t floppy like this piece of crap. Seriously don’t waste your money.

Soft addition to bassinet and my baby sleeps better and longer in the bassinet than before. That being said, this mattress will probably not fit ANY bassinet exactly, therefore using it with your product will void any safety claims. Use only with supervision.An earlier description said this mattress is memory foam, it is not. I do believe the description has been updated to just "foam" and that is simply all it is. It did not expand to 2" after 48 hours of taking it out of the vacuum seal, so I tossed it in the dryer on low heat watching over it and taking it out about every 40 seconds or so. That puffed it up quickly but did release a slight chemical smell that I let air out for another couple of days. If you get the foam too hot it will break down and melt so if you are going to attempt to expand it with heat be very careful. Decent product that my baby enjoys, as with anything use with caution and do not leave baby unsupervised.

Bought this to replace the “mat” that comes with the fisher price soothing motions bassinet. Fits literally PERFECTLY and gives so much more support then the paper thin mat it comes with.

I wouldn't recommend buying. The mattress didn't fully expand, one end is still squished almost flat. We're still using it, put the flat end at the feet and keep him at the other end of the bassinet, he'll be moving to his nursery when he's too long to do that.

Fits perfectly into the fisher price soothing view bassinet. I had to replace the super thin mattress that came with the bassinet because not only was it too thin, it was also not breathable and made my baby's skin all red. This one is so much better and no more red skin

The matress is very flat compared to the picture it is maybe 2 cms. thick certainly not 2 inches thick. The waterproof 'cover' is not really waterproof. Worst of all the zipper was put in backward so that it cannot be opened and a toggle was put on the wrong end to make it look like it would work. Unfortunately when I tried to open it to see what the matress actually consisted of it would not open and the toggle flew off in my hand - a terrible choking hazard for a baby. I highly reccomend you look elsewhere if buying a matress for a bassinet/basket. I expected some quality since it was so costly. This was cheap and really really dissapointing.
