ATLIN Grinding Wheel Dressing Tool - 36 Grit & 120 Grit Diamond Dresser - True Up and Restore Grinding Wheels

I bought a sharpening tool that has a 10” wheel that runs in a water bath. It was a good 1/4” out of round when I “won” it at a local auction. I bought these and used the coarse one to do the majority of the work I clamped it down to the tool rest and turned the wheel by hand. I moved the tool closer many times and eventually switched to the fine dressing tool. For this job they worked great. They still have enough cutting ability that I saved them for use on my electric grinders.These were perfect for the job I purchased them for and I’m quite sure that I will use them when my electric grinders need the wheels dressed.I would recommend these.

These work like they should and they are much better made than others I have used.Be smart! Wear a good face mask when using these, or any other wheel dressers. They raise a great cloud of dust that you definitely want to keep out of your vitally important lungs. Judicious use of a shop-vac to suck up the cloud at lts source is also a good idea.

Works great

This set of two dressing tools make indispensable companions to any bench grinder. The units are substantial and reasonably hefty, with a good solid feel. Using the coarse (36 grit) instrument, I was able to bring my 8 inch grinding wheel (which had not been dressed in over 15 years of use) back to an clean, even surface within 30 seconds of application. I followed with the fine (120 grit) instrument, and brought the wheel to a much smoother surface, again within 30 seconds. After restoring/dressing the grinding wheel, the tool surfaces showed only slight wear, indicating a good amount of residual for future use. I have nothing negative to say at all, I would buy this set again.

Simple to use and very effective. With this effectiveness comes a great deal of dust, so have your shop vac on to collect the cloud of debris. Works quickly, with good results.
