Well made, works as advertised with old DVD/VHS equipment to new LG TV. Does get hot when plugged in and used. Won't leave it plugged in except when viewing a tape.

16 year old Denon Surround sound with DVD player in Master Bedroom was paired with 4K brand new high definition flat screen. Flat screen only has HDMI connections. Older equipment has composite cables only.To watch DVD in surround sound use above converter. Direction of feed important. I selected switch to go from composite equipment to TV and the 1080P switch setting. Picture is absolutely phenomenal with this product.

I bought this to connect my old Dreamcast to my LG OLED TV. I did not want to spend $100s on a retrotink, im not that particular, and this thing didn't disappoint. There's better options but this gets the job done. No input lag, games are converted to1080p/720p and look pretty good. I've heard that there are 15 to 20 dollar options from Walmart that are terrible, but for the 35 bucks this cost me I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to try my PS2 and OG xbox next.

It is impossible to find monitors with composite video input any more, and the systems I work on all have composite video. I bought this adapter, plugged it in, turned on the monitor, and POW! It works. I can now put HDMI monitors/recorders on our old robotics systems. It does stretch the video so that circles become ovals and it blows out highlights a bit, but these problems can be fixed in post. It is a cheap, but not perfect solution. See the image below.Also, it seem to auto-switch from NTSC to PAL. No dip switches. The only dip switch is on to switch from 720p to 1080p for the monitor, but I only have one monitor (out of 4 I've tried) where that makes a difference.

I use this with my Sony stereo equipment for DVD/Blu ray 5.1 surround system so that it works perfectly with the new 65 inch TV providing superb color and definition in sound and picture. An excellent purchase.

Gives better quality than those cheap converters that are sold for 10 bucks. Highly recommending.

This is a great deal for the money! It’s good enough that I’m re-digitizing some video that I had previously done at VGA quality. Just plug it in and forget it’s there!Would definitely use this vendor again, and highly recommend this product.

I hate to give anything a poor review, but in this case I have no viable option. I bought this converter to convert the composite signal output by my older Karaoke player and turn it into an HDMI signal that I could input into my modern television. I could never get it to work. Ultimately, I had to acquire and dedicate a separate, older television with a composite signal input to use my Karaoke machine. To do so I also had to dedicate additional floor space for the Karaoke setup instead of having everything use one electronics stand and one television.
