very cheap quality of material used no strength.. it just tears off as soon u put anything.. never waste money to buy this

This item works exactly as described and is perfect for my needs. Like, I cannot even convey right now how silly, giddy, thrilled and charmed I am by this perfect little device! Instructional Tips for those who don’t always figure out things on their own… *Even the included pump that some reviewers are critical of is actually really great, and a breeze to use. You just need to make sure you screw it on properly, and obviously if you want to use it as expediently as possible, it makes sense to get the bag almost all the way zipped closed (like maybe leave an inch not yet zipped), then gently press out most of the air through that remaining opening, then when the bag is basically flat, most of the air out, finish zipping. Then take the cap off the air hole, screw on the pump, use it to remove the rest of the air, every bag I’ve used so far has taken maybe 30 seconds or less of pumping, probably somewhere between 10-25 pumps, but I haven’t counted. Then remove the pump, screw the cap back on. Voila, done! The whole process takes under a minute. It’s not rocket science and it is not hard. It is SO EASY! I really don’t understand the reviewers who mention lugging out a big ol’ vacuum cleaner for this simple task; that’s completely unnecessary; the pump works perfectly! If you live in small shared quarters and have a TON of clothes that take up a lot of space, or perhaps in a space where smoke from nearby smokers or any other odors have a tendency to get into your clothing, this item is an absolute sanity saver! * * * * *

Great bags! They hold a lot.and stay sealed

I bought this a while ago & did not even use it for a month , then i needed to store some Blankets and said let me try this out ,I was amazed at how well and how much i could store inside the bag, once i removed the air i couldn't believe how well it worked , the large bag fit 2 large thick , plush blankets , Then once it was deflated i was sold , i pulled several other winter coats out of the closet that just take up Alot of space and folded them over once then shoved them into another large bag then removed the air "squeezed" ,then used the pump that came with it , amazed again, i went back online and ordered 3 more boxes, you can actually make some space using these, You can store cloths and not worry about Bugs,dust,fading , you can protect your nice garments & save space , and travel too ....im sold its a buy for me and recommend to others.

I have purchased this twice. The first time, I bought it because I ran out of the bags that you vacuum using an electric pump or vacuum hose. I wasn't sure if these hand pump ones would work well in really pulling out the air, but to my surprise, they work even better. When I use the electric pump kind, it gets to a point when no more air gets sucked out and the electric pump sounds like it's going to burn out, so I stop it, and it's about half has full as before. But when I use these hand pump kind, I feel I can get even more air out. I bought this a second time yesterday because I need to send a long bench cushion to my daughter, so I need something that will make that cushion small enough to fit in a shipping box. I tried with the two kinds of bags to test out my theory that these hand pump ones are better. I had to fold it into 1/4 of it's original length, which makes it taller, and you can see in the photo how tall it was before being vacuumed (14 in), and after being vacuumed by electric pump using the electric pump bags (7 in) versus vacuumed by hand pump with these bags on this page (3.5 in) What a difference!! You do need to make sure that the seal is complete by going over the zipper 2-3 times with the zipper tabs that come with the bags. When done correctly, it will stay sealed. My daughter used some for summer storage and they were still sealed and the end of summer.
