I bought these for our couch that is located in another room that we don’t use very much. My cat kept going to the bathroom on the couch and I was getting tired of stripping the cushions and washing them every time so I bought this to protect it. The plastic cover has worked great so far! It protects the couch from when my cat in a bad mood and wants to use the couch as a litter box. I usually just wipe up the mess on the plastic cover and continue to use it and after a couple of accident I will replace it. But I haven’t had issues with tears or it ripping and I know my cat is walking on it. Our couch is pretty big with three large cushions and The cover fits it great with extra material hanging over for protection. It’s a great option if you have unused furniture that your cat loves to use as a litter box!

This did cover the top and sides of a medium size sofa, it does not cover the bottom. Since 2 come in the package I used the second one on the bottom of the sofa, pulling it up the sides and then taped the whole thing together so the entire sofa is protected.The covers are not real thick but they are not too thin either, I think they will do the job I purchased them for.Great price and quick delivery.

In my city we are required to enclose sofas, mattresses, etc. in plastic before leaving for the refuse company. I think the idea is that it helps stop the spread of bed bugs and prevents the item from getting really heavy from rain.I ordered this item thinking I could use if for this purpose. However even though the pictures looked like it could be done it wasn’t big enough and it didn’t seem to stretch as noted in the description. The lack of stretch was mainly why I deducted one star. If using simply to stop dust it should work fine for that purpose.The rest of my comments are more of a warning to others trying to seal up a couch. If I needed to dispose of another couch, I’d order two of these. I would put one underneath and pull up like a bag and put the other on top as intended and then tape the two bags together to fully enclose.

These plastic covers are nice and thick, but they weren't quite long enough to cover my couches (5" too short). I corrected the problem by purchasing some 2 mil thick drop cloths at Walmart for $3.75/each, placing my couch on the drop cloth, pulling up the sides to tuck under these covers, and where cover and drop cloth met, completely sealing the couch. The quality is great, just needed to be 5" taller.

This sofa cover only covers the sofa seat and not the back. It is long enough. I suggest you save your money and buy a plastic cover as used when painting. This will cover the entire sofa and cost much less. I ended up doing this. I'm using both. The sofa cover is slightly thicker than the paint cover but not nearly as large. I purchased this to protect my sofa from my dog laying on it. I was hoping and expected this to would cover the back of the sofa also which it does not do. I hope this helps. I have a 6' long, pull out, sleeper sofa.

Works great for covering sofa during move. The bottom is open, so you may have to tape to keep dirt out. I ended up buying another. It’s very versatile and seems to fit any size sofa, just need to tape it to keep it protected.

Fell right off. Too small, too thin and you have to tape it.
