Great for perspective on hands or freaking out family
I ordered these after looking at a similar product for assistance in drawing. These are going to be a bit smaller than you may expect, maybe closer to the size of a thin girl or a teenage boy. However I don't see this as a bad thing as it makes them easy to store and position. The thumbs could maybe be more flexible, but not really a deal breaker over all for such quality. They're also really good at making your loved ones question if you have a mental disorder if you just leave them around as they'll wonder why you have a pair of wooden mannequin hands just laying on your table. You could bring them with you to work to make people question whether or not they should sit next to you if you prefer to be left alone. Overall, a fine product.

Could have more range of motion
These are great for the money. The only thing I wish was that they had a bit more movement. The ball joints don't swivel, so the fingers are stuck just going forward and back and the base of the thumb is always stuck in a permanent position since there isn't a ball joint all the way down. Great for some basic hand positions and probably to get a general idea for other hand placements for drawing references. Good quality and cost efficient.

These are amazing!
I got these for an outdoor display, I put a poly spray on them and they held up great outside. The range of movement is amazing. Sadly my dog liked one of them too and chewed it up. So one hand is missing several fingers. I would order these again in a second though.

Very stiff and doesn't provide full range of motion
These are cute and will definitely help me draw hands, which I'm currently having a lot of difficulty with. My one gripe is that they're very stiff and feel like they might break if I extended the fingers too far. Also, the thumb is limited in its motion and the finger joints only go in one direction. The hands can't be spread out. But other than that, I think they're good quality. A bit smaller than I expected but they'll still work for what I need them to.

Good hands
Excellent hands, perfect for what I needed them for. They are a bit stiff to adjust, but that's probably for the best so it maintains its pose better. I don't know if this was mentioned at all in the description, but I hadn't seen it, so I just wanted to point out, the 10 inch is women's hands and the 12 inch is mens. I needed men's hands so I actually measured a man's hand, and his was 10 inches. So I went with the 10. But when they arrived, they were clearly not large enough.

They're useless
As so many other people have said, they are not hardwood, they are soft pine, they are fragile, they break easily, the fingers don't rotate, the joints don't have useful range of motion, the hands can't be posed in realistic positions. So what's left? Nothing. 100% waste of money and time. Don't buy!

Adequate Enough
These are adequate enough for hand studies. They are somewhat limited in range of motion as the fingers do not rotate on their axis. One pinky came loose but I was able to tighten it a bit. Value for money is good, for the price for one in my area, I got two, so yeah.
