This ESR car phone mount is way ahead of it's competition. It is better than the alternatives on Amazon in virtually every aspect. The clip mounting mechanism is ingenious, using a strong and long clip to wrap around a vent blade. When this is paired with the lower stability bar, once it's clipped in, it's not going anywhere. The stability bar on the bottom prevents the mount from tilting up and down by itself, and also ensures the full weight of the phone is not placed on just the vent blade. Tilt is adjusted using a finger nut, which makes it easy to adjust the tilt, without compromising on it's strength. Once you tighten the finger nut, it's not going anywhere. Phones are attached to the mount using ESR's HaloLock technology, which can be found in their cases. (I'm using an ESR HaloLock iPhone case in the pictures.) The mount should also work with genuine Apple iPhone MagSafe cases too. This HaloLock technology is incredibly strong, and once the phone is on the mount, it doesn't wiggle or slide at all, even over considerable bumps in the road. I have 100% confidence to say that the phone will never fall off the mount. Although the phone won't come off the mount by itself, it is relatively easy to remove by pulling the phone from top to bottom, and doesn't move the mount when you remove the phone. The wireless charging feature is a great addition, and is highly convenient day-to-day, as well as for longer road trips. This charges my phone at the same rate as a high wattage desk wireless charger, ensuring my phone is always fully charged throughout the day. The lighter port adapter they include is extremely high quality, being made of metal with a low-profile, which is perfect for cars that don't leave you much space around the lighter port (like mine.) This lighting port adapter is easily equivalent or superior quality to one that I previously bought for over £12. The design of the mount is clean and minimalistic. I was initially worried it was going to be overly chunky and large, but to my surprise, you can barely tell it's there when there's no phone on it, and with my phone attached, it's not visible at all (providing you hide the wire properly.) The black glossy front design looks clean and fits nicely in my black interior car. Overall the phone mount is an excellent purchase and will make my life much more convenient in the future. This is easily the best car phone mount on the market at the moment for iPhone users. Beautiful clean sleek design, the metallic grey colour makes it fit in any cars interior. Looks extra futuristic in the dark with the blue ring light and helps you easily align the phone to the charger. The magnets are very strong, unlike the cheaper MagSafe chargers I’ve tried before it has no problem holding on to my 14 Pro Max, a very secure fit as you can see in the video. Packaging is minimalistic and easy to open, doesn’t require any tools. 👍 The clip to the air vent is thick but very sturdy, not the easiest to clip in but once it’s in, you definitely won’t worry about it falling off! 👌 Comes with the USB-C cable and car adapter so you get everything you need in the box. The car adapter is 40W with 2 USB-C ports so you have a spare socket to charge another device. CryoBoost makes a lot of sense for a car charger especially during the summer. I’m sure everyone have experienced their iPhone telling them to wait for it cool down when using it for navigation in the car. This helps cool down the phone while being on charge which also help preserve the devices battery health! 100% recommend! 😁

Pretty good one. Even if there is a fan the phone heats up sometimes. Magnet is pretty strong and the phone is completely secure in bumpy ride. The 3m glue is not strong enough to support iphone 14pro. Vent mount is nice. Any way i am not using this anymore because my vent is squeaking.

I bought this for my mother and she was over the moon! I installed it in her car for her iPhone 12 and am very tempted to get one for myself! The magnet is super strong so i know this wont be going anywhere. I have the previous version in my own car and the fan sound is noticeable. This version, it is not at all, yet the phone is still nice and cool even after being on charge for some time! It might not be the first thing you think about, but the product also comes with a dual usb c charging socket which is excellent to have a spare port, and it comes with a premium quality charge cable. if i had to make one small criticism, it would be against apple and not ESR. the item does not work with other phones even if they have a magsafe ring. The price is not insignificant for sure, but the quality and extra items included make it a great purchase. I would definitely recommend this product over other magsafe chargers due to the fan for cooling the phone down and the higher charge speeds.

Used for an iPhone 13 Pro Very simple to setup, and there is a video on their website should you be unsure. Feels secure and sturdy clipping to the air vent - I have always been wary of attaching to the air vents, and whether they (the vents) would hold a weighty phone, but with the use of the stabiliser, these fears have been allayed, it's not moving. The magnet is amazingly strong and used in conjunction with the ESR Hybrid Case with HaloLock (a cheaper alternative to the Apple MagSafe cases), it is great, and doesn't move when going over speed bumps. It's so strong, it actually takes 2 hands to remove the phone (I need to find a knack of removing with one hand without taking the whole mount off the air vent). Nice touch having a fan as the wireless chargers in general heat the phone up quite considerably and it is not too noisy, and in actual fact the engine noise (and radio) drowns out the noise. It's OK in the summer with the aircon running, will be interesting to see what happens in the winter with the air vent behind it blasting out heat as well. Overall a great bit of kit, you won't regret this purchase.

I have the original one of these which has been great, very secure and convenient. Only issue was my phone kept overheating when the kids iPad was connected along with using it as a sat nav, giving me a warning on the screen and then running sloooooooowly. Then I found this update. It arrived nicely packaged with an extended warranty link in the box. As can be seen in the pictures it is ever so slightly smaller than the original but the clip is ever so slightly larger. It definitely looks more developed than it’s previous iteration, slicker rounded edges and the fan looks cool (no pun intended) It charges my phone quickly and the over heating problems I was having have been eliminated. I would like to say my phone did only over heat when streaming to an iPad at the same time as being used as a sat nav and charging. This generates a lot of heat that the fan seems to dissipate well. My phone is only the iPhone 12 mini but it is very secure, can see no reason why any compatible device would ever fall off. It’s size compared to the phone can be seen in the photo with my case attached. For obvious reasons I couldn’t photograph the phone on it. All in all very happy. Good quality and very convenient.

Thought it would charge. I plug in my charger. And my phone stops and starts wireless charging. Very annoying for the price I've paid

Right, I’ve had this ESR MagSafe charger for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it’s awesome. I have been using the official apple MagSafe charger but wanted something with a better hold on the phone and still give the full 15w charging. I use my iPhone 14 pro max all day at work for reporting and running SatNav so the drain on the battery I pretty high. Using unlicensed 7.5w chargers do work but very slowly and the phone gets worryingly hot. The official charger is good but again the phone gets warm. I have mounted the ESR charger on an aftermarket 17mm ball mount which is then screwed to a brodit adaptor. This puts the phone in exactly the right place in my van on the A pillar. I can confirm the phone charges at the same speed as my official apple MagSafe charger but stays cooler thanks to the fan. The subtle blue illumination is nice and not too bright and obviously can’t be seen once the phone is mounted. The cooling fan can only be heard with the engine off and is much more of a gentle hum than some ‘premium’ chargers I have used. The twin USB-C 12v adapter is great to get included in the box and the power cable is a nice ESR branded unit. All in all this is a great piece of kit that holds up to all its promises, I can’t recommend it highly enough (I might have to buy another one to go in the car!), yes the price is higher than the standard units but this is officially licensed and charges at 15w so if that’s what you need go for it.
