I purchased this to shade the back seat on our golf cart for our dog. It works GREAT.

They work great as long as you're not trying to take them to Mexico. They are too big for most suitcases and awkward in a duffle bag. But that's no the products fault. The shape is a little weird so does require some maneuvering as the sun moves. But the quality and materials are top notch I think.

Being fair-skinned and having a friend undergoing cancer treatments, shade was a top priority on a girl's trip to the beach with daughters. These umbrellas were a true lifesaver, but take some time (laughing) to figure out the best place to attach them. 360* allows for endless options to maximum coverage. Pictured worked well for our face, but we attached them to the front of the chairs instead and it covered our entire upper body. They are easy to attach, held their position, and more importantly we didn't get sunburned. Keep in mind, you can clamp them on either side of the chair, front or back post, and with the screw tightener facing up or down. We had to switch them from the left to right side mid-day, but most of the time the click and adjust buttons did the trick as the sun moved. This was the most enjoyable beach trip I've had due to these umbrellas giving outstanding shade coverage.

Smaller than I thought it would be. Several positions for adjustment. Pretty easy to install. Feels fairly flimsy and will not stand up to even a light kansas breeze.

Very flimsy. I bought it to attach to my walking golf cart. 5 months of infrequent use, and it broke!

Had a chance to use this clever umbrella today on a sweltering sunny day. The umbrella did a great job blocking UV rays, making the shade noticeably cooler that another umbrella we used.The attachment was sturdy and sure. I moved the umbrella to a variety of positions on my bag chair and it always seemed solid. There are a number of tilt, twist joints to aid in positioning the shade. The elongated design provides a good amount of shade, enough to cover a chair and your legs.The only drawback I found was the inability to rotate the canopy once you have settled on a clamped position.If you are looking for cool shade, this is your umbrella.

I got this to use on one side of the swimming pool. My wife loves the sun me not so much. So, if I'm out there for an hour or 2 I have this open so that i can sit in a shade but then the rest of the Pool is sunny, very nice and easy to use. I would buy again
