Q: Would this work for a 6 and 2 year old to sit together?

Yea but it would be tight. My 4 and 6 year old nephews love it when the are over but they don’t sit on it, they use it as a forte or a theater.

Q: Could an adult sit on this? Wanting somewhere to sit and read books with my toddler before bedtime.

Yes, you can sit on it but it is definitely child size.

Q: How can you wash the foam pad if wet?

I haven't needed to wash the pad, but if I did, I would spray some spray n wash on it, dab, dab, dab, and rinse with clear water, air dry. The covers are washable and well made, my granddaughter silt some milk on it, but it did not soak through, it dried unto the fabric and cleaned up in the washing machine, don't put in the drier, air dry as well. Hope this helps.

Q: How do I get the wrinkles out??

I have not experienced any wrinkles. Have washed the covers several times. They fit so taught there were no wrinkles
