I have a 97lb Malamute. She's gorgeous, but anyone with a double coated dog can tell you- they're tough to wash. Tumbleweeds of fur collect under couches and chair slides. Besides that, at times they'll get smelly if unwashed, or maybe corkscrew roll through unknown stinky treasures. Sometimes I ask her "where did you find a dead fish!?!" Last year, I used a new pet groomer. I've used many in the past. I've also washed my own dog with everything from dawn soap and vinegar to Hartz oatmeal and sugar, or several similar products. When my dog came back, she smelled amazing. Her fur looked just as good as she smelled. Hesitantly, I asked the groomer to share their secret sauce for "in-between" groomings, because dropping $100 on grooming seemed excessive. Don't get me wrong, the grooming was worth it! I just don't want to spend $1200 a year on grooming fur. The groomer was very kind and shared this product name and the conditioner. They also said that "we barely even use a brush after a good blowout". She was referring to a doggie jet hose dryer. I found one of those by searching Amazon as well. I will use that groomer from time to time, especially because she was honest, did a fantastic job, and shared. Support your local business owners! So, I bought shampoo, conditioner, and blower. Yesterday, I tried just the shampoo and the blower. My dog is pretty good, but I'm not a pro with a pro station, the dog really wanted to be done, and malamutes shed water like a duck, making them hard to wash. 85% rule applies. 85% of the benefit in 15% of the time. We pay the groomer for the other 15% of the benefit in 85% of their time. After I washed my dog, she smelled great. Hair was definitely loosened. I took her out in the yard and blew out excess water. The blower was not that loud. My dog didn't love it, but she RUNS from vacuum cleaners. A mist of water and hair drifted into the trees like a passing fog. The product is great. With conditioner, it might have worked even better. I probably blew away 80% of her loose fur with the blower. Once completely dry this morning, I brushed her out more. This is expensive soap. In my opinion, it's worth it. My dog sleeps next to my bed, rides in my truck, and she's my friend. She hates the process just as much as I do, but I swear she loves being clean and getting more pettings. If money is an issue: I'm kinda frugal, not a waster. I poured from the gallon to a smaller container to dispense. I figured I used about 3 oz of soap for my big dog. That's almost 43 washings from a gallon. A person could use more or less. I was careful not to be wasteful. I'm also glad I bought 2 gallons. It's worth every penny and I don't have to search it out regularly. The gallons were on sale for about $65 when I bought two. That's about the price of one grooming. Best of luck folks. The product is great but the rest is up to you. :)

I saw this recommended by a groomer on a social media platform so decided to give it a shot for my long-haired poodle that easily knots and mats. It has been fabulous! It truly detangles, softens, and smells delish, leaving my poodle’s fur better than ever each time! I use this with the charcoal conditioner in the same line and my poodle comes out of his baths cleaner than ever, smelling AMAZING, and with minimal tangles to work through. I always aim to brush his coat before bathing knowing that baths worsen mats or knots, but with this product, I haven’t had an issue bathing when there still some small tangles. This and the charcoal conditioner loosen them right up instead of the opposite. This line also leaves his fur the softest, brightest, and shiniest out of any product I or his groomers have used before. His fur is actually so soft and smooth after using this that it really helps deter knotting for at least a couple of weeks after. I used to need to brush him daily to prevent knotting (alas, poodles!), but since using this and the conditioner, I can brush him twice a week or even once every ~5 days without any issues at all. Poodles are notorious for their sensitive skin, and mine is no exception. This has not caused any skin issues. I have tried at least a dozen top-rated dog shampoos and conditioners over the years, and nothing compares to this. Ten out of ten. Literally, the only con is the price, but it is worth it!

I’m not one to do a lot of reviews but I absolutely had to review this product. This is by far the best grooming product that I have found for my doodle. Not only does it smell wonderful, it leaves his fur so soft and manageable. The tangles virtually come out on their own with blow drying, little to no effort when brushing. And again, the scent is amazing. Buy this product, you won’t regret it.

Terrific shampoo. This was recommended to me by a Skye Terrier breeder. I have my first Skye and didn't realize that they could mat if not brushed each day. Didn't take long for me to learn. I contacted a breeder whose dogs always look like they are ready for the show ring and he told me what to buy, how to use it (Dilute it a little) and also not to over condition my dog's fur. So, I followed his directions and am so happy that I asked and even happier to have a premier breeder take time to help a person new to the breed. My dog looks great and it's not a battle to brush him since we don't have mats starting to form. I love this whole line. Tearless shampoo for the face and the conditioner too.

Works good, smells really good. After giving my Australian shepherd a summer shave & bathed him with this he didn’t shed all summer. He smells good for 3 months at a time. A must try

I love using this product so much in the salon I had to buy a small bottle for myself for home use! It not smells amazing but it truly helps deshed your pup during the bathing process, and if the dog is compacted or is holding a lot of undercoat it does help to remove the excess and allow the coat to shed while being bathed. Ive found also while drying the pups after using this in the bath will help remove 80% more of the fur in need of shredding during the drying process! Which for me has allowed me to spend less time brushing afterwards because 85%-95% of the loose and compacted coat sheds in the bath and during the drying process. Truly worth every penny! A little bit goes a long way PLEASE dilute with a mixing bottle to truly get your money's worth!

My Papillon has beautiful, long silky hair that often will matte, and always sheds! The shampoo and conditioner combination make his hair, very silky and easy to brush. It does not irritate his skin. I bring it with him to the groomer! He comes out, looking like a show dog! Did not give five stars only because of the high price!

Spilled products. Broken lid

After trying multiple products which would make my puppy’s hair look dull, frizz.y or make his skin itchy and my hands breaking out in eczema, the I groom shampoo and conditioner is exactly what i expected a product to deliver. Lathers up well, no hair tangles, hair blow dries faster, silky soft, and the smell, not perfumy strong, just perfect. May I use it on my hair as well? 😉
