Great Pen For Pen and Ink Sketching!
Thought I would give this Fude pen a try, glad I did. Didn't know what to expect , the pen was very inexpensive but it turned out to be a good purchase. I can get a number of different line weights from one pen, no need to carry around 3 or 4 different pens. Ink flows well, balance is good, liken the line weights, and the screw on cap prevents the ink from drying too quickly. Definitely a good good fountain pen and a great value for the price. Will buy again.

Great thick thin variation, Ink Flow. Love at first write!
This has become my go to fountain pen for writing!! For the past year Ive used it, its performed consistently, smoothly... with a good ink flow through thick and thin lines. The nib is not the smoothest Ive used but the use I get out of it makes up for it. I can get very thin lines with this wonderful nib!Pros:~Wide line variations (from super thin held upright to thick when held tilted)~smooth ink flow~long lasting. (Been using a year now. Its my go to)~Good size, thickness of body~Durable with thoughtfully designed steel bands that reenforce structure at weakest points on body. Has not cracked, broke despite numerous drops.~Sleek body with small jut for rolling preventionCons:~Nib cannot be removed/replaced (At least I think when attempted )~Casing feels thin (minor. I prefer thick and weighty)

Very versatile and fun!
I use it for sketching and it’s a blast! You can get from say .5mm to 1.5mm-2mm lines just buy angling it or writing upside down. But what I like most of all is just not really over thinking it and sketching with it. Instead of having that robotic mechanical feel and look of a technical pen, and their perfectly even lines, if what you’re looking for is more of a free flow varied line drawing almost as if drawn by a fine paintbrush. this will be great for you. Sketch then I just basically color the sketches with watercolor paint as if it’s my own coloring book. You need a sailor converter and a good waterproof ink. I like to use De Atramentis archival document ink. It’s quite black and very waterproof. It’s not cheap but makes this a very formidable art tool for quite cheap. Good luck and practice a bit every day. Even if it’s just a line. :)Cheers everyone.Have a good day,and leave your mark!

Best $12 pen out there
Just change your writing angle and you can vary from thick to thin. It works very well with the cartridges. I have not tried a converter. For the price, it's a lot of fun and you can't go wrong.

Great hanzi/kanji writing fountain pen.
Love this pen for writing Chinese/Japanese characters. It really mimics the way a traditional asian calligraphy brush makes those small changes from thick to thin lines. This does a pretty good job once you figure out how to use it. I will say that there is a bit of a learning curve to write with it and to make it look like a brush stroke.I do like that it has the ability to write in really thick and thin lines, depending on how you hold the pen. The tip writes very fine lines with ease. While using the wide side make for great thick lines. Then depending on how much pressure you apply will make for the different gradients in line thickness. The plastic itself feels a bit light and cheap, the cap doesn't post well or at all. But it can use a converter to get more ink or use different colors of ink instead of the included two black cartridges. Otherwise it's a pretty good pen. I would say don't drop it from too high a height, or the plastic might crack easily. Also the pen is quite glossy and seems to scratch a bit easily. Otherwise a great pen to bring along with you when you want to write or draw something in ink.

I know why people like this pen…
I’ve heard a lot of hype around this pen, I was a bit skeptical, as it is quite affordable, and I’ve had some bad experiences with economical fountain pens, but this one is great. It’s really reliable I travel with it it’s so far hasn’t leaked and it’s a lot of fun to draw with.

Love it
Not as useful as the green one with the more bent nib. But it is still quite useful when drawing plein aire...buy both so you have a selection. 😊

Great Pen
It writes smooth, like kinda glides, doesn't leak and I've left the cap off longer than I should have but it still didn't dry up and stop writing. Impressive. I just use it for normal writing, not caligraphy.
