This product does work.
We had a terribly algae'd pool after being gone for 3 weeks in the summer and when we returned, we used this to clear it up. It did what it was supposed to.

Didn't do much for us
We really didn't notice a difference with using this is in our pool. It sunk to the bottom within 4 hours of being placed in the pool so we moved it to the skimmer basket with continued little luck of it working.
