Satisfied with the keyboard so far. Easily assembled and performs very well for the price. The only complaint I have and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the rythym function seems to be set at a preset tempo and I have not found a way the change it so far..

The instructions to put the stand together are wrong. The orientation of the stand in the instructions is impossible to match with the actual stand. It’s mirror imaged. Two of the holes had metal debris in the way and the screw wouldn’t go through. I had to drill them out. The elves definitely had a bit too much egg nog when building this thing.The pianos functionality is worse. The weighted keys are horrible and don’t match a real piano at all. A lightly hit key doesn’t even produce sound. Very tempted to return it, but it’s for my 8 year old to practice “Mary had a little lamb” on, and she doesn’t hit the keys lightly. It will definitely be sold on CL after a while after she’s ready for something that actually works properly. Very disappointed in the product.

If you want a great sounding, tactile piano, this keyboard is lightweight, portable, comes with a padded case, sheet music stand, sustain pedal and keyboard stand, making it a great choice. The speakers are the right size/weight and the semi-weighted keys play smoothly.

Sound quality isn't what I expected but I can deal with it. Everything else is ok. I would recommend a different stand for the piano. The legs get in the way of you getting closer to the keyboard.

Perfect for starters

I started learning the piano when I was four years old, so I have extensive experience with it. My mom always said that electric pianos were not good for my hands, so I never tried them. However, when I came to the US, my major was completely different from music. Sometimes, you know, when people leave their hometowns and start missing them, they need something to channel their emotions. I didn’t want to fall into depression, so I spent a little money on this one. Its size fits perfectly in my 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom rented condo, and I love it! Playing the piano makes me happy and gives me courage. I wouldn’t say it’s the perfect electric piano, but I do think it’s worth it.
