Works well and fits with my 1940s feel of home (yep, purposeful design). I know having a landline means that it disappears when the Internet does, but if someone needs to reach me and I've forgotten to charge my mobile phone, they still can. So, it's still worth it for me to have a landline. Plus, I don't have to remember to take the phone up to the bedroom with me. I can have a phone next to the bed for an emergency in the night. I guess for people whose phones are attached to their bodies that these are not issues, I prefer to use an iPad and my mobile phone is just for phone calls or searching the net when I'm away from home.

Very light, very cheap feel to it. Looks nice, from a distance, but as soon as you touch it you realise it's just cheap plastic, very poor value for money. Zero weight to it so when you lift the reciever, the base unit moves... But even worse is the line quality is awful, it crackles so it doesn't even function well as a phone. Do yourself a favour, ignore anyone shilling this on Youtube and get something else.

Good appearance and functional but disappointing ring tone (to me it sounds like a basic office phone which does not match the clever vintage appearance). If it’s just the look you want then great, if you want the whole feel (or silent mode), maybe not.
