Look no further!!
So I’ve been looking at ac’s to buy for a couple of weeks now and i eventually settled on this 12k BTU unit. Here’s my honest reviewIt’s pretty noisy on cooling mode, fan mode it’s almost silent depending on what speed you have it set to. However the cooling is AMAZING and cooled my room down from 29c to 22c in a matter of minutes. Haven’t tried the heating mode yet since it’s mid summer as of writing this and I don’t wanna get burnt to a crisp. It’s heavy as you’d probably expect from an AC unit, but it does have wheels on the bottom so moving it around rooms on the same floor is easy.Wifi connectivity was easy to set up and works flawlessly with my Tuya/Google Home setupsThe remote is a lot different to what is shown on the product page, but is a LOT better and im happy with it.Overall really pleased with this AC unit. Well worth the money!

Decent A/C
The A/C works like a charm but the pipe adapter that connects to the exhaust is not sitting well. There seems to be slight size difference. This means that some hot air slips through the cracks at the back of A/C. I'm yet to figure out how to resolve the issue. Tape would not work as hot air would melt the adhesive.Pros:- the A/C comes with 2 window adapters which cost around £50+ if purchased separately- keeps the flat at the comfortable temperature- kept is working for 2 days and didn't need to drain the A/C as yetCons:- too loud to run it at night if you are a light sleeper. This is not my 1st A/C, and unless you plan on spending few hundreds more, you won't find anything you would class as decently quiet.- the extraction pipe/hose that it comes with is very short. You must park the A/C next to the window, alternatively purchase extension pipe... this once again will add a hefty sum to the investment.PS: Yes, I tried refitting the hose few times with different 'slack' of the pipe with little to no effect.

Nice & Efficient HOT COLD Unit, With Soft Start, For an Amazing price
Works very well, and at only 7000 BTU's has no problem cooling my living room that is 6x5x2.7 meters in size from 36C this week, down to 22C in about an hour, and will cool my whole SW facing, large flat (12x10x2.7m) down from 36C+ down to 24C in around 3 hours, which surprised me as both of my older and much bigger 12000 BTU from 2018, and 14000 BTU from 2010 units made by DeLonghi, were not as affective at cooling, more noisy, and used much more power 1.5 KWH for the 12000, and 2 KWH for the 14000, to do the same job at the same place, where this 7000 BTU unit uses just 0.63 KWH.Here is some technical info that I couldn't find before buying, and a must-know if you're planing to be running it from an inverter or generator etc, and why I chose it over other larger units.I'm running my OMETA 7000 BTU from a 1500w (1.5KW) sine wave inverter, from my DIY soler LIFEPO4 battery system. It has soft start, as it draws around 700w (0.7KW) on starting the compressor in COLD mode, where many other AC can pull as much as 10 times their rated power on start-up, and after a few seconds it settles down to around 630w continuous, or as the compressor is running, and around 100 watts with just the fan running, and with HEAT, it's using a little less at around 550-580w, but I've not run the heat for long as we are still in summer, I'll update this while running it in the winter, as I'm planning to be using this for my only source of heating, as it's cheaper than using gas, and even cheaper again when charging batteries from a cheap nighttime electricity tariff like E7 or an EV tariff, on winter days while just solar won't cover it.

Would recommend
Other than being a little loud, it’s great, has wheel easy to move, works amazingly well and great value, doesn’t look too bad either, works with any style of window especially for Uk style where it’s the windows the push outwards, can sleep with it but only after a while has passed

Garbage - Must Read!
Currently using this for the first time and seriously not impressed. Obviously I have it on cooling mode as its really hot outside. This is my experience. You turn it on with the correct set temperature and the device sorta runs in Fan mode for the first few minutes (I assume whilst everything internally is cooling down / heating up to expel the extra heat. After a few minutes of just the Fan (even though the Blue snowflake is lit) it finally kicks in, the exhaust pipe starts to blow and expand as it expels the heat. The air coming from the device is then lovely and cool. This cooling lasts for only a few minutes, before it turns back into Fan only mode again (with the blue frost still lit). The Fan then continue to blow until the process kicks in again. You can hear it physically turn off what ever process it is doing and goes back to fan mode.Now... I am in in a normal sized living room, the doors are all closed and we have a few bodies in here. I would consider this normal use case. I have the exhaust connected directly to the window so all the hot air goes out the room and doesn't circulate.I use Home Assistant so I have pretty accurate tracking of what is happening... and its basically nothing. The room, with the doors closed, is getting Hotter not coolerIn short, what is the point of an AC unit that can only run for a few minutes at a time and then kicks into Fan mode.I would really love for someone at the company to reach out to me

Good air con unit
The unit itself is a bit bigger than I expected, my own fault for not checking dimensions really. Does a good job of cooling the room down. It's not as noisy as you'd think a giant air cooling fan in a box to be, I was prepared for much worse.Life saver in the current heatwave.
