Sonic the Hedgehog 12: Trial by Fire

Good to see female characters getting attention without being obnoxious. It's pretty fun but left me slightly disappointed in a couple of areas. Looking forward to what Eggman has in store for the main characters in the next chapter.Spoilers: The part where the fire starts was kind of weird. Also there's promotional art of the characters posing in front of a dangerous fire that almost hurt many people, which is kind of strange to me. Also think its weird that there are good badnicks now because aren't there still animals trapped inside of them?Spoilers: This comic sends off both Tangle and Whisper. Though Whisper gets a very underwhelming abrupt exit while Tangle gets more time to say goodbye for now. I know the two characters have their own side comic together but It would still be nice to see more of them. I'm sure they will be back but still. I'm one of those "Weird" sonic fans that enjoy Sonic's friends getting attention. Wish other characters in the newer games got more attention. Sonic's friends being playable is not what ruined Sonic 06 SEGA.

My son is 7 and is an advanced reader and this was great for his age. He loves sonic so I’ve been buying him different books from these series as prizes when he does well in school! Great read!
