Mittelain Cleaning Beads WORK!
Holy cats! These things work!! I bought them to clean out some bottles I used to store homemade cherry brandy. The inside of the bottles were bearded and no matter what I used or tried to clean them with, the scum did not move. One session with the Mittelain Cleaning beads and the bottles were sparkling clean and clear. But, that's not the best news. I was able to clean my hummingbird feeder with these beads. I have a circular feeder made of glass and cannot reach all the way down the sides. Black mold forms inside the feeder and, if you don't get it off the bacteria is creates kill the hummingbirds. You can't use bleach or vinegar without risking these beautiful birds, too. Brainstorm this morning. I put the beads inside the glass globe and BANG all the black mold was gone.I love these beads and highly recommend them for cleaning hard to reach bits of glass!

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning
Mittelain Cleaning Flying Saucers - Removes Built-Up, Hard Stains from Glass Bottles/Decanters, Tough Coffee Stains from Stainless Steel TumblersAlright folks, real talk: I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning. In fact, I'm the kind of lazy person that will drink 2-3 cups of coffee every day and will only give my cup a quick rinse at the end of the day. I'm also a particular fan of french press coffee, which some of you may know leaves a thick layer of coffee residue once you're done. Well needless to say with my coffee drinking habits and lack of cup washing habits, my favorite coffee mug quickly developed a really nasty stain. Once this stain was set, it was impossible to remove no matter how how long it soaked in hot soapy water or how hard I scrubbed it. So when heat, soap and good ol' fashioned elbow grease failed, what else could a guy try?I'll tell you what: Cold. Hard. Steel. Now I'll admit, I was pretty doubtful when I first found these "Cleaning Flying Saucers". After all, I'd never heard of anything like these things before and they just SCREAMED gimmick. But you know what? They actually worked and worked well to boot. As you probably guessed, they're these stainless steel beads that are shaped like flying saucers that you use to add in a little bit of extra abrasiveness when washing your dishes. A strange idea but at this point, I was ready to try anything to get the stain out of my mug. So the day after they arrived, I brought them into the office and gave them a shot. I tossed them into my mug with a little bit of warm water, dish washing soap and just started scrubbing with a soft sponge. I've uploaded some pictures to show how well they work. The first picture shows the infamous stain in question (1 year of french press coffee, it's no joke). Second picture shows the effect after about 2 minutes of light scrubbing. The stain isn't completely gone, but there is definitely a noticeable improvement. The last picture is after about 4 minutes of total scrubbing time. Now the stain isn't completely gone, but the beads have removed at LEAST 95% of the coffee stain with minimal time and effort on my part. And I'm happy to report that the saucers didn't scratch my mug or remove any of the paint whatsoever. They're 100% stainless steel so they never rust and they'll last forever. The only downside that I can see is that they're fairly small, about 1/3 of the size of a Tic Tac mint, so they may fall in your drain if you don't have a cover. But because they're made of steel, they're fairly heavy and won't float when submerged in soapy water. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with these little saucers and I can't wait to try them on some tougher stains and messes that I have at home. Cast iron pan with caked on gunk? SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIENDS!

Worked like a charm
Got these for my mom, she was complaining that she couldn't clean her decanter. Worked like a charm. Put a little warm water in then dropped these in and swirled them around and it got rid of all the sedement. After just dried them on a paper towel and they are ready to use again. (My mom thought they were one time use at first)

IT WORKS!!!
i've used this item to clean everything. it works great. I've used it on my wine decanter, my chemex and stained coffee mug. For the stubborn stains it just requires more vigorous shaking, but it gets the job done.

Good stuff!
These really help get the nasties out of stainless steel canteens. I have several from Kleen Kanteen that I'vd had years and aren't the easiest to clean. When a friend recommended these, I bought em and love em.

It works
They do the job, I just should have purchased the chain/linked ones...I had to be smart keeping up with the loose ones and getting them back in the container!
