I enjoyed the history of the Lady's Magazine and what life was like for women in the 1770s-1840s. I also like the references to book characters in the text of this book, especially the book about the life of a pincushion. :)

I enjoyed reading this book. I have not read any of Jane Austen's books but that will change. I've seen a movie or two based on her books.
