The wood pellet makes it nice. There should be more in the bag like a 20lb bag then 15lb bag for the price it is a little expensive like the hay. It should be a little less expensive people would buy more of it

These wood pellets work great at absorbing wetness and odor! So glad I gave them a try. Super easy to clean up!

Definitely helped with smell and does not clump. I did add a bit of paper bedding on top so it would be soft for my bun.

I've been using Andy Wood Pellet Bedding | All Natural Premium Pine Litter Pellets for our pet rabbit, a totally spoiled house rabbit who expects only the best. And they work great! They absorb urine and odor and break down quickly.As another reviewer pointed out, you can get cheaper prices in bulk elsewhere. But while we were using 40lb bags of standard pellets, we kept those in the garage because they were way too bulky. Whereas this is convenient to keep close by in our living room where our bunny resides. So there are the pros and cons. I've included a picture for visual folks who want to eyeball what 10lbs looks like, though the bag is half empty now, sorry!I don't think I'll personally be buying this when I run out simply because it's cost prohibitive for me. But if you want the convenience of the smaller size, this is great! I've tried out hay from Andy as well and it was very high quality. This is a company I trust to put out good stuff for pets.

I'm not sure what's in this that my bun bun likes but she chews it into tiny little particles and then it can't absorb her urine like her original litter making a one dump box change more of a scrape job. Maybe it's just different depending on the breed.

I have used a handful of other products for bedding and litter. So far nothing has been as good as the paper pellets in my opinion. I will say I really do like these though. They are different than the paper in that they disintegrate when they get wet. The paper type doesn’t fall apart like these do. It’s just different and not worse or better. Either way I scoop daily and it helps to keep small animals dry. The product is clean and easy to use. Although I like fleeces, disposable products like this make clean up quicker. For my own use, it depends on the animals and their bathroom habits. I would recommend this product as an absorbent small animal litter and bedding.

Until this guinea pig crossed the rainbow bridge, we keep trying to find way to cut down on the smell and the easy clean-up. We shrunk the cage and then discovered these pellet bedding offerings from reliable brand name Anderson Hay Store. Absorbent and durable, they cut down on the stink and make clean up a much easier task than with the other wood shavings. Until it's time to go, we'll take care of the aging rodent with pellets from here out. And these from Andy are a great way forward.
