Easy to use, blades are sharp, looks great on counter in holder ~ glad I purchased them

I love to eat, however, I hate to be in the kitchen. I hate cooking. Luckily, my hubby takes care of most of the cooking. When I DO help out, I used this Cuisinart knife set. It is the best set we have ever had. Sturdy, and sharp. I was able to cut through watermelon and hard vegetables with relative ease. I'm not one to praise kitchen utensils--but this one was worth the buy and highly recommend.

My friend's mom has this set and I knew I wanted my own the second I used hers. The main chef's knife is heavy, balanced, and comfortable, as are the the Santoku knife and the slicing knife. They come extremely sharp out of the box, and the grind tells me that future whetstone sharpenings will be a breeze. My only complaint about this set is that the shears and the steak knives feel cheap. Wish they would have used the same full tang construction for the steak knives that they used for the rest of the set.The knives that matter are well-made. I'd pay $80 just for the three I mentioned in the first paragraph. Don't hesitate. Buy this set.

I have only had the set for a couple weeks. So far, the knives feel sturdy, balanced and sharp. I take great care to wash them by hand and not put them in the dishwasher.

These are fantastic! I got them for my wife for Christmas and am very pleased with quality. I have paid three times the price of these for what was said to be professional grade only to be dissappointed.

This was a shower gift for my future daughter in law. The knife set is beautiful, was well packaged and knives are all very sharp. I would buy these again.

These were a gift for my mom; a replacement for the awful, plastic Farberware set I purchased. Cuisinart is a great brand and these don't disappoint. I was skeptical looking at other reviews, but after 2 months, these are still in perfect condition. There is no rust at all and they're put in the dishwasher. They're sturdy, extremely sharp and look fantastic on the counter. After several uses, the sharpener is used and cutting things like soft tomatoes is a breeze. The handles could be a little more solid or heavy, but I have to believe that it was designed this way for ease in holding.
