I loved this book. It's full of fascinating tricks and puzzles which will appeal to anyone who enjoys maths at any level (even those who think they don't!) And the writing style is entertaining. The author makes the maths clear, and his thoughts on what makes a maths meme go viral are always illuminating. Strongly recommended!

This book is crammed with nuggets of interesting maths. I own a lot of pop-maths books so I confess I’d seen a lot of these ideas before, but when combined with a humorous analysis of the strange world of social media maths they took on a new life. It feels like an effort has been made to reach the novice while still having enough advanced content for the more experienced maths reader. Recommended.

This book was an entertaining read. I bought it for my daughter who was one of the A level students the 'tricks' were tested on. The author manages to make maths interesting whilst explaining how maths puzzles can be solved. Would recommend.

I wouldn’t ordinarily buy a ‘maths’ book but this looked different. I really enjoyed it.
