It's just what the description says it is.
I gave it 5 stars because the product description says it's a plant stand and that's what it is. In other words it's exactly what it says it is.I read the reviews, how it's so difficult to assemble, turns your whole house into a black mess, how the gloves and mallet are worthless, directions are vague, and I found none of this to be true. I built the large corner stand which is L-shaped and has the most parts and it was time-consuming but easy.Separate all your parts, count everything, and start. Don't try to make sense out of the instructions unless somehow it makes sense to you, rather look at the pictures.1. The tall sticks and short sticks are the uprights, or vertical pieces. The medium sticks are horizontal pieces used for assembling the base and the shelves.2. There are corner brackets and T-shaped brackets. They are stamped with "UP", meaning "this side up". These pieces will always face toward the sky, which is up.3. You don't necessarily have to put all the brackets on all the sticks before you start like the instructions say but assembling some of the corner brackets on some of the sticks makes things go quicker. Remember, all the corner and T brackets will go on the medium sticks.4. Build the base just like it looks in the instructions picture and go up from there. I found it easier to sometimes revert to the picture on Amazon or the Bamworld website than to rely exclusively on the instruction illustrations because it was easier for me to visualize from the actual photo. Your mileage may however vary.5. If you don't wear the gloves your hands will get dirty. Not "Oh my God!!!" dirty, just dirty. It washes right off. I put down newspaper and built on our hardwood floor and dirty was not an issue. The mallet is perfect for the job - don't be afraid to use it. Tap your pieces together before moving on.Took me about an hour to build but I'm a "measure twice cut once" person. If I were to put together another stand I could easily do it in half the time or less. I also assembled the shelves upside down - this I did on purpose because it gives the shelves a raised lip around the perimeter.Take your time - the assembly makes perfect sense.

Great Plant Stand—Exactly as Described
I gave this product 5 stars because it delivers exactly what it promises—a sturdy, functional plant stand. Despite some negative reviews mentioning assembly difficulties, messy materials, and unclear instructions, I had a smooth experience. **Easy Assembly Tips:**1. **Organize First** – Separate and count all parts before starting. The pictures in the instructions (or even the Amazon/Bamworld product photos) are more helpful than the written steps.2. **Bracket Orientation** – The corner and T-shaped brackets are stamped with "UP"—always face this side upward.3. **Build Methodically** – Assemble the base first, then work upward. Pre-attaching some brackets to the medium sticks (horizontal pieces) can speed things up.4. **Use the Provided Tools** – The included mallet works perfectly—don’t hesitate to tap pieces firmly into place. Gloves prevent minor dirt (which washes off easily).5. **Optional Shelf Adjustment** – I assembled the shelves upside-down to create a raised lip, which works great for stability.**Final Thoughts:**Yes, assembly takes time (about an hour for me), but it’s straightforward if you follow the visuals. With a little patience, you’ll have a high-quality stand. I’d confidently build another one in half the time now!**Highly recommend—worth every penny!** 🌿

I love it! 💖 But so do the squirrels 🥺
When I opened the box and realized every piece was separate, I almost taped it back up for a return, but I'm glad I didn't! 🤩 This thing really looks nice, goes together well, and is very sturdy. The instructions are also well done. This is not a cheapo Chinese product. My only complaint, which has nothing really to do with the product and attributes solely to the jerk squirrels- they seem to like to chew on it so 48 hours after it was assembled I'm afraid a shelf may collapse. 😬

Good build, good stand.
Bought this one after buying the larger bookstand version. Easy to build and sturdy.Wear the gloves for the splinters and make sure the holes marked "up" face up or you'll be starting over.

I love this plant stand SO MUCH! Great value, it leveled up my plant set up! Building it took time and patience but didn’t even take us an entire hour. I can’t stop staring at it 😭😭🩵🩵

It’s a time investment.
It’s like a jigsaw puzzle that doesn’t have a picture on the front of the box. It was definitely a time commitment..lol. Seriously the pieces are a lot. It only comes with 4 lights. You would think it would come with more (shrugs shoulders). Thank God for my fiancé because if I had to assembly it that thing would still be in the box…lol. It’s definitely as tall as shown in the picture. It would have been great to know how much weight each section can hold. I have a few ceramic and terracotta pots so I hope the stand can withhold the weight. We shall see..👀👀.lol.

Sturdy
I have many variations and I love them all. Be sure to wear the gloves however because it'll stain your hands black when putting together.

Take your time and really read the instructions.
OK its a good stand and looks nice. Wish the spaces were a bit wider. Now for the assembly. It looks like Lincoln logs when it comes out of the box. Dont be dismayed. Dont start it when you are tired. Pay close attention to the directions. Towards the end there is one error where it gets the size 2 and 4s mixed up. Go by the size of the rod in the pic. Make sure you read on the plastic joiner things which way is up its hard to see but it says it right on the plastic. Dont pound the things in until you are sure they are right. I had to start a few times over and got frustrated but once you get it you will sail through it. There will be some holes in joiners not filled. Look at the pic on the site for reference. Youll have a couple of extras left over. Good stand. Have patience. :)
