Flat shoelaces grip better than others
I am now in my 70's and for my whole life I've had to deal with shoelaces that would come untied every couple of hours were I not to double-knot them like a 7 year old. The problem with double-knots is that it takes a bit of finger engineering and strong fingernails to pick them apart when it's time to untie them. Worse, the popular rounded shoelaces can't even grip a double-knot. So, for decades I've had to seek out the good, old fashioned flat shoelaces. But, even they can be problematic if they are too narrow, which most are. I love these shoelaces not only because they are flat and somewhat wide, but because they grip so well I don't need to double knot them! Finally, I can look my age!

Happy with my purchase
I am very happy with these shoelaces. I replaced a pair of fat, round shoelaces which hurt the top of my foot. I bought the dark green and gray laces and revitalized two old pairs of shoes. Wish I’d done it sooner.
