Walking Through the Flames: The First Step into Hell

I "accidentally" bought this book thinking that it was by another author by the same name. when I received it I thought I might as well read it since I already paid for it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this book is extremely interesting I couldn't put it down and read the whole book over the weekend.

There is another author with the last name of Tuttle so I got this by mistake. However, I read it anyway. This really was written by someone trying to work through the pain of their childhood.

I bought this book because I thought she was a different Carol Tuttle, but I read it anyway and I loved how she came through her trials with love in her heart. She was an inspiration to me.

This is not by the same Carol Tuttle who wrote Dressing Your Truth. Amazon, change the Author picture. It is incorrect.

This is much a reader can learn from this biographical account. Born and raised in what would now be considered a 'disfunctional' family, at a time in history starting in the 1930s, when average American society was less tolerant of the unusual. Carol Tuttle's biography, is the story of her journey through many storms (including parental abandonment, date-rape, domestic abuse, single-parenthood and poverty), and the psychological insights that were her strengths and salvation.Whether or not the reader has experienced similar events in their life, they will come away from this wonderful book counting their blessings that they were already aware of, and equipped with insight to see additional good in their lives.

I got this by mistake thinking this was another author of the same name. I was 3/4 through the book before I realized why nothing I was reading made any sense. This is about someone's painful childhood and nothing more.
