Q: Do these work on wire shelving systems? I.e. Closet maid.

They will fit over a closet rod, but not wire. Since clothespins will grip the wire shelving you could make your own using clothespins. Print up little divider signs on your printer and take them to any office supply store to have them laminated. Then glue the laminated signs to the clothespins and you have your own dividers that will work on wire closets.
