I’m on my fourth bottle. I love this stuff. It’s unscented, non-irritating, absorbs super quickly, and doesn't leave any unpleasant feeling on your skin. I layer it under serum and moisturizer, and use it both morning and night. Blume makes amazing products.

After suffering Third-Degree burns over 40 percent of my body as a child and having a double mastectomy with reconstruction as an adult, I know a thing or two about scarring. This Milky Fade Spot and Scar Serum by Blume actually works pretty well. It is intended to be used alongside other moisturizers, and I did find that it gave a bit of a boost to my usual scar reduction routine.The ingredients of this formula are not listed on the bottle, however, what I could glean here from Amazon's page is that it contains Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, and Vitamin C. I understand wanting to keep a proprietary formula under wraps, however, in my experience as an herbalist, and as someone who has certain allergies, there needs to be a full list on the bottle.That aside, the product is listed as vegan and cruelty-free, with no parabens, sulfates, and it does claim to be non-irritating.Full Disclosure: On my physician's advice, I do use a moisturizer during the day and apply scar tape at night. The moisturizer that I use is a contains frankincense essential oil, which is also said to reduce scars. So far, the results I have gotten with this product have been noticeable. Before using this serum, I would sometime experience painful stretching in scarred areas. I have not had that happen at all while using this product, so that is a very nice plus.

Blume Milky Fade Spot & Scar Fade Serum feels good on my mature, sensitive skin. I have a surgical scar on my neck and I hoped that it would help fade it a little but I haven't seen any improvement despite consistent use. I know that it is designed more for acne scars but thought it may have a positive impact on other scars. It absorbs quickly and absorbs well so I can add other products on top quickly but I will only use it as part of my nighttime routine until it is all used up. Although it hasn't helped with scars it does seem to be helping with overall skin texture.

It took a few days/weeks of continued use before I noticed any kind of results.However once I started to see some of the larger dark spots on my face fading, I was determined to keep using this product.It’s been a few weeks now and I can pleasantly say I’ve noticed a dramatic difference in the dark spots on my face from when I started using till now. They’re much lighter and much easier to cover with concealer- rather than before using this product I’d try to hide the spots under my concealer and they’d still show through.I’d definitely recommend Blume milky fade to anyone looking to diminish the sun spots/other dark areas on the face, as I’ve had nothing but positive results thus far!

Edit, March 2023:I used up this bottle of Milky Fade recently. I can't say that I really saw any changes to lightening spots, but it helped with moisturizing my face and neck.Original, July 2023:I started with a different serum for lightening sun spots, then switched to this Milky Fade serum. I've been using this for over a month, mostly at nighttime but sometimes twice a day. I dab on my darker spots before swiping the remainder of a pump into my face.I think it is mostly maintaining the lightening of my few darker spots. I know they're less noticeable, even when I'm paying more attention to them. I don't expect them to completely fade away.Bottle is an opaque pastel purple with a sturdy cap. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this twice daily for the past couple of weeks, and I’m in love.I have sensitive skin, and many products leave my skin irritated. This doesn’t. There’s no notable scent which is good for me.The formula has a clear, creamy texture. It feels light on my face with no stickiness. I’ve been using this to help with the redness on my face and treat my sun and acne spots. I just need one pump to cover my face, and neck area. I can already see a noticeable difference. The redness in my face has already faded, and the acne spots seem to be fading also. Still working on those sun spots. I filmed a little video, so you can see it up close. Hope it’s helpful!

I use this on my forearms, which dry out easily from sitting at a desk typing all day and have a few minor scars from various calamities. It makes my skin feel like a baby's butt, no lie. Still on my first bottle so can't say yet how it does with scar reduction, but I'm sure enjoying the difference in how my skin feels.

This is a nice, light serum to use on the face. It has an easy to use pump and it spreads easily on the skin.There is no smell and it absorbs quickly, leaving no sticky or oily feeling behind. It feels nice on the face and helps even the skin tone. I am not sure that I notice much fading of the dark spots yet, but I will use it a bit more consistently and update my review if I start to see a difference. I like that this product is paraben, sulfate and cruelty free.
