This cord functions just like one might expect it would. Things to consider:This is only 4 feet long - not much wiggle room to plug it in before pushing a dryer into its place.It includes the cord clamp to hold the cord in place where it enters the dryer.It does not include instructions for replacing other dryer cords (like older 3-prong ones). Instructions are readily available online, however, and are easy to follow along with.The cord clamp comes in two pieces and is meant to be screwed together with a pair of included machine screws, one on each side of the cord. Perhaps it was just that the hole in my dryer was smaller than most, but it was difficult to get the clamp around the cord and aligned with the other side given the short screws they include. Had they been a little bit longer, the task would have been a little easier. Definitely a minor, minor inconvenience.

This is a well made high voltage dryer cord. It is capable of handling 240 volts to heat your dryer to a very high heat. I have repurposed this for keeping my roommate in line. When he doesn't clean up after himself I attach it to his room door knob to help "to educate his bad habits.

Good quality, exactly as described, super easy to install as instructions are on the bag. Very affordable!!! I bought a $27 cord that was the exact same from a retailer and I took it back to buy this instead.

The strain relief clamp caused me a lot of strain. It didn't fit properly in my dryer (Kirkland/Whirlpool), and probably doesn't fit properly in any other dryer that uses a standard 1-1/4" cord access hole. This two piece clamp design has been used forever and it sucks. I think these clamps were originally for the flat 3-wire cords, but this cord is 5/8" and round. A little snip and bend on the clamp pieces is all it took Next time I'll use a big NM clamp. This cord was less than $10, and a similar cord at Lowes was $25.

Exactly what I was looking for and great quality

When moving into our new unit I was surprised to find that our dryer needed a different plug. When I went to pick one up from the local big box store it was over 3x this price. This plug was exactly what I needed and the wires are clearly color coded. Following the diagram on the back of my dryer it was very simple to install. The cord is very heavy duty and works great.
