Can't hear it, looks very elegant and minimalistic
I purchased this Minka-Aire Twist 52 inch in "used - like new" condition. I tried very hard to hear the motor but could not hear anything, which is awesome. This is the most energy efficient ceiling fan I could fan after hours of reading specs of many fans. The lowest setting uses less than 3 watts of power (meaning you would have to run it for 333 hours to use up one kilowatt-hour) and I feel a comfortable breeze sitting near it. The remote control has a button to reverse the direction. It goes very well with many types of decor.Edit after using for one year: amazing fan, no regrets buying this model. Goes well with many different decor styles. I only use the lowest speed setting because even the lowest setting moves a lot of air.

Quality and Quite
I'm a huge fan of the Minka fans! This model did not disappoint. Minka makes quality fans and they're quite . I recently moved into a new house and once again bought Minka ceiling fans. I have purchased them for a yoga studio and other properties. Highly recommend.

Price and quality
Quiet at all speeds! Functions well and on schedule with my Smart system. I wish the transmitter was of a higher quality but so far it’s been reliable.

Great fan with Bond (and therefore Home Assistant) Support
I wanted a fan that I could reliably send "off" commands to from Home Assistant. I use a Bond controller with several of my fans. Some of them only have a toggle for power, so it's not always easy to automate and make sure they're turned off when there's nobody in a room. This Minka-Aire fan can be set to a specific speed - and more importantly "OFF" - easily in Home Assistant via the Bond integration.

Fan great but the light is terrible.
I’ll start with the positive. The fan looks and works great. Super quiet, super effective and it looks great. That’s a 5 star.Now the light, it’s terrible. If you want this light for an office, great. If you want to use it for a bedroom, not great. The dimmer is terrible. The light is offensive. Not to be dramatic but when it’s on you feel like you’re being interrogated and if you happen to look up at it you’ll see white spots.I called Minka to see if there was anything I could do. Sadly, I already bought four and had them all installed before realizing. They told you’re basically SOL. So the customer service is questionable at best.Choose another fan!

Beautiful and Efficient Fan - Dimmer Not So Great
We love the fan. It works well, is quiet and produces a good amount of cooling power. Our only complaint is that the light does not dim very well.
