Mayor disappointment, horrible instructions 😞
I stop using a rice cooker over 25 years ago, I did not want to expose my family to the harmful materials used in almost all rice cookers.I always rinse my rice and make in the stove in stainless steel pot. Jasmine, pastrami, quinoa. All come out perfect; but I was interested In the new smart carb technology and spend time researching.I finally order the Aroma Profesional, with the glass inner cooking bowl, glass lid and smart carb technology.I really wanted to try and remove more starch and have a larger pot fir weekly family dinners, but I am returning it. It dies nit work and is very bulky and inconvenient.I tried making rice 4 times; It does not cook rice well, smart carb options does not work, rice is hard and pot makes strange sounds. Not quiet at all.I will continue to make perfect rice in my very good stainless steel pot, that takes much less time.Maybe I will try in a few years low card technology improves.

Functions Well
Except for the special insert for low carb rice, no plastic touches food. Alarm for low water. Good electronics. Easy to operate. Cleaning is good once you get the hang of it. Cooks well. I use it all the time except for summer, too hot in small apartment. I recommend it if you steam often. I enjoy the best and this is it.

glass inner pot is the KEY, it's much healthier than the coated inner.
I saw the German brand glass-lined rice cooker at my sister's house in Shanghai. I thought it was much healthier than the aluminum-coated rice cooker we've been using for a long time, so I saw this on Amazon. Bought the pot immediately. It has only been used for more than a week so far. The appearance of the transparent glass is very good, but after all, it is tempered glass, which is very heavy. The first time I used this pot to cook rice, I didn't know the amount of water and the back pot was not filled with water, so the rice sandwich was raw. The second time I got the hang of it, the meal was good. At present, I only feel that the pot is a bit large and heavy, but everything else is fine.

Hassle to clean the lid parts, but overall makes good fluffy rice.
Bought this since it’s the only glass rice cooker available on the internet. But there are so many flaws to this, many features need improvement.Pros:- Rice comes out perfect and fluffy each time.- Glass bowl—safer than Non-stick, stainless steel, clay, etc. & Scratch resistant.- Overall appearance looks nice.Cons:- Cooking time ranges from 50mins to over 1hour.- Wish the lid props up or was more convenient to open.- The water/condensation from the lid drips out everywhere when opening after it’s done cooking.- The metal steam rod makes it annoying to open the lid when there’s rice inside the bowl.- So many parts to wash each time: the glass pot, steam wand, plastic screw thing, glass disk, and silicone ring—it’s quite a hassle! Also worried that there’s a part in the lid that could potentially easily grow mold since it can’t be opened to wash.. and gotta be extra careful with the glass parts.I haven't used the smart carb function so I have no comment on that. Also, I found out the steam wand should be removed when cooking soup and other non rice stuff. It’s mainly for making rice fluffy. And “One cup” really means 3/4 cup, which is the size of the cup that it comes with. As long as you follow the instructions, the rice will come out perfectly cooked.
