I like it after doing some research
Jute leaves are used on Eyptian and African dishes when I google for recipe. I read that tomato acid makes a difference in altering the taste and texture. So then it's time to experiment. The leaves I received from here are fresh, nicely sealed in package. It does require soaking before cooking or you can soak the entire bag and freeze what you don't use. Next time, you can just use the frozen leaves and no need to re-soak.Stir fry taste and textures are good. You can taste the spinach and it's a little slimy. Next, I used the leaves in spaghetti sauce. The tomato and acid definitely improved the taste and the leaves enhanced the flavor. I didn't use a lot since I was experimenting. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a try and alter it to suit our taste buds.

Instructions
It would have been great if there were more instructions on how to actually cook it and not just “soak for at least 30 minutes before cooking.” Some of us have only ever cooked ewedu with fresh leaves so it was quite tricky for me.

Effective for helping to fight inflammation 🙌!
I’m not a big fan of the taste, I’ll admit to that. It’s a tad more woodsy & earthy than my family enjoys, minus my husband. He likes it.. so for taste, Jute really is subjective. BUT I definitely like it because of the help with inflammation, which I often have a chronic issue with. We also have back & my hubby has shoulder & knee issues too, and it helps with muscle spasms and body pain. Not to a crazy degree, but enough to be noticed. It’s a healthy seasoning for food, but the taste may not be a winner for everybody. It still may be well tolerated for those individuals, IF not eating straight up, which some people do for concentrated health & healing properties. Just use a little bit if unsure. You might just wind up loving it. It’s not cheap, but it does have its perks in the kitchen & in your body. Great immune system booster, too!4 stars for overall meeting my expectations 👍.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** I hope my review has been helpful 😊. **

Jute leaves
The media could not be loaded. This is an African cuisine delicacy. If you know how to cook it, it is delicious. It is a little bit pricey, but since you can't actually find it here, the price is tolerable. See video.

Easy add to stews, salads, stir fry - taste much like a Spinach
Stews, stir frys, salads, whatever dish you care to add KOPABANA Chopped Dried Jute Leaves to. The taste? After it was boiled it seemed to me very much like a Spinach or Kale. I haven't tried seaweed yet but I would imagine this may be close in taste. The taste is green but plenty palatable. The common greens flavor makes it an easy add for many dishes. A dash could be added to just about anything. KOPABANA Chopped Dried Jute Leaves is high in Vitamin C and is supposed to be more potent when cooked.

Jute, I thought that was a craft item.
I'm always looking to sneak nutrition to my cooking as my family tends to revolt against anything out of the norm. Since this was marketed as an 'addition to stews' and similar I thought this was worth checking out.The package resembles a large bag of tea leaves, or parsley, or finely chopped herbs. The taste/smell is what I would describe as dried spinach. That's not bad or good, but overall it's just much easier to get spinache from the store to add to whatever you like.I'm not going to evaluate the nutritional properties of Jute vs Spinach, but for the money and effort I will go for the bag of locally sourced spinach for my supplement cooking needs. I've added this Jute to several dishes and it's been absolutely fine, however, for the price I think I'd go for the more economical spinach.
