Liposomes are tiny spherical structures, with a protective outer layer and an inner cavity, to hold and transport substances such as vitamins, drugs, or other nutrients to the body; in this supplement, Zinc is encapsulated by liposomes for enhanced absorption! The ingredients (Per Serving (15 mL)) is as follows: 4 g Liposomal Proprietary Blend (Sunflower oil, Phosphatidylcholine), 18 mg Zinc (as Zinc Bisglycinate), 6.7 mg Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol). Other Ingredients: Organic Vegetable Glycerin, Purified Water, Cold-Pressed Blueberry Extract, Oleic Acid, Gum Acacia, Citric Acid and Phosphoric Acid. Alternately, MaryRuth's Zinc Liquid Drops are simply Zinc, organic glycerin, and purified water. Here are the ingredients, Per Serving (3 mL; ~4 droppers): 11.25 mg Zinc (as Zinc Sulfate). I read my label. It says 'sugar-free'. There is no sweetener added. The calories & 'sweetness' comes from the fruit itself.
