Perfect for my fruit skewers

I only have a patio not a garden, I have plants in containers, the squirrels kept digging in my flower containers so I placed a lot of these sticks in to deter them until the plants grew and became sturdy. sort of helped, squirrels do not give up easily and had to gradually add more and more sticks to keep the plants safe.

These bamboo skewers are nice and smooth with a good sharp point. So they are excellent for savoury or sweet kebabs. I always soak my skewers in water for a bit before threading so they don't char as they are cooking. The skewers are slightly shorter than I'm used to but that really isn't a problem. In fact, my longer ones tend to get a bit unwieldy if I load them up too much. My only concern with theses is the price, I really think they are a bit expensive. I have to admit I usually buy 100 skewers for £1 in the cheap shops so I don't think I'm a convert. If you want the convenience of skewers arriving through the post, these are excellent. I'm happy to recommend them.

These come in a thin box for easy storage, and for safety. They are food grade and have multiple uses. If you are making medicinal syrups, it's a great way to measure reductions while simmering the syrup. They are also good at stirring your cultured fermentations like kombucha. You can use them to gently move the SCOBY over to insert the pipette to sample your brew. They come in quantities of 200, so you don't have to save them for just kabobs if that's not something you make on a regular basis. You can use them to attach bags of herbs over your pots of soups or hot water for tea. Since they are made of a natural wood, they are compostable. I find many uses for this product and recommend having them on hand.

These were good quality skewers for a good price. They lasted me a long time and were used for multiple different things. They seem to be able to hold a lot of weight and did not break.
