Coolibar Full Finger UV Sun Gloves - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Gannett

When I was looking for a set of sun-protective gloves, I had narrowed it down to these and the Solbari ones. I'm glad I went with these. I have a sensitivity to the sun and therefore need to take extra precautions when out and about. The Gannet gloves from Coolibar have offered an ideal fit and level of protection. I've used them for about a year now for driving, hiking, and bike riding. They have held up really well. Some of the reviews I had read mentioned stitiching problems, but the pair I got have been quite resilient. They're so comfortable you forget you're wearing them. I thought the Cooltect technology was just a gimmick but it actually works; even in the hot sun you feel a cooling effect from the gloves. The only thing that I would recommend improving on would be the silver touch-compatible tips that wear out rather quickly, and the silicone grips on the palm that start to come loose after some time. Not deal-breakers, I would still replace the pair I own with the same brand. As or the sizing, some reviewers mention these running small, others them running large. I went with the sizing on the Coolibar website and settled on a Medium. For reference, I'm a male with 8 1/4 in circumference around the palm, and 7 1/2 in from wrist to tip of middle finger.

These gloves are lightweight, have touch-screen functionality, and are a breathable material. They are great for running or protecting your hands when out and about and look very cool also. They have a comfortable, slippery feel and the palm has a grippy portion that is helpful for grabbing keys, while driving, or using a handheld phone. I would recommend these 10/10 for everyday and activewear and am an avid supporter of the company and their mission. These gloves are 100% worth it and I would also highly recommend their other headgear (i.e. women's Abacos fishing mask and Alverstone UV sun mask). These are quality products and provide excellent protection against harmful UV-A rays.

I ordered a size XS and they fit well. Normally I would wear a size S or even M glove, but these are unisex sizes, and a male reviewer said a M fit him. The beige color is great for blending in. I like that I’m protecting my hands while driving.

After melanoma surgery and some reading, it never occurred to me how much sun your hands get, especially since even long sleeves don't cover them. I can't stand wearing sun screen, especially on my hands. These gloves are the perfect solution. They're wonderful--even after weeks of wearing them, they still grip my hands closely, don't stretch out, and are quite comfortable to wear. I even got a second pair to swap out. The underside is silicone studded, which makes things easy to grip. Ironically, they're a little too grippy on the steering wheel, making it harder to have the wheel slide through your hands, so Coolibar, remember that for the next version. Still, I've found their functionality to be excellent. I can do virtually everything I wish wearing these gloves. I'm not big on using my phone, but they work for this too. Wearing sun gloves beats the alternative. I've got a number of things from Coolibar and really like their stuff. These gloves were definitely worth the $.

The gloves come in a handy little, color-matching pouch, which is very courteous. The gloves feel comfortable on my skin and ffit reasonably well. I am able to use my touch screens with them on. The product material looks cheaper than it did online, and there is a design detail on the palm side that didn't come through in the photos. However, overall, it meets my needs, sun protection in ashade close ro my own, and is easy to use.

This is my second pair. Great for driving, and the tech tips do work for using your phone while wearing them.

Accurate sizing, great quality. Comfortable and functional. They do the job protecting your hands from excessive sun exposure while driving.

I bought this because I have a sun allergy - mostly affecting my hands. I was concerned that the gloves would be too hot. Surprise! I wore them in Costa Rica at 32 to 36 deg Celsius when I went for beach walks. They felt pleasantly 'cool'. Great product!! Will buy more from this store.

Aweosme quality and doesn't make your hands hot at all! It is so lightweight and feels really good on the skin! It really exceeded my expectations. I faced no problems using my phone. The sizes in the chart are accurate, too.

I'm allergic to sun and get blisters. This has stopped all my reactions. They are really light weight, not sweaty at all. Washes and tumble dryer brilliantly. Only snag is the metal on the touch fingers slowly washed off.

Fit well and prevent my hands from being baked in the sun. I was struggling a lot driving long distances, often taking turns with each hand to maneuver the steering coz the burning would hurt, finally I got this product reluctantly, I wasn’t really expecting it to be this nice. But I’m surprised; Not only does it fit very well. It is also very thoughtfully designed with a nice grip on the inner surface so that you don’t lose any traction with the steering. The fabric is amazing and breathable, Using your cell phones and scrolling or typing works nicely too. I’m not too sure how long they will last but for now they do the job very well and keep my hands cool.
