when the Harry Potter movies and books were released origionally, i was too young to watch them or read them. even as i grew up, i still wasnt allowed. The the end of last year, i finally was! and from the start i was a Slytherin. I bought the scarf even though i wouldnt ever be able to go to a movie or book release because the legend came to a end. It was a lot longer than i thought it would be, its longer than i am tall, but i found a way to wear it and make it look pretty normal. i do get a lot of strange looks when people see me wear it but it doesnt matter to me. The scarf is kinda itchy, but after about 5 minutes of wearing it, i didnt notice it. It was made wonderfully and it looked really awesome! it was my first internet purchase. my only complaint was that it took forever to ship (so it felt.) i got the 3-5 day shipping, and it took over a week at least. i havent wore it in a while since its so hot, but when winter comes, ill be ready. (:

This is a great scarf for everyday wear and showing your Harry Potter house pride! :) It's a little over five feet in length and around 9-10 inches wide. It definitely does it's job of keeping you warm well. The color of the scarf is a lot better than the photo. The actual scarf has brighter colors, which is nice. The green appears lighter than the Slytherin beanie though, which is a deep green color. Still, this is a great scarf. It'll keep you warm during cold winters and looks great! The Slytherin emblem is nicely embedded in the scarf. :) I've gotten lots of compliments about it from fans.The scarf is made of 100% lamb's wool, so some people may find it itchy, but I have personally had no problems with itching. I read somewhere that if you do find it itchy, you can soak it in some conditioner to make it softer or just wash it a few times.

The shipping was decent, took a little longer than i had hoped but it was worth it.The scarf is wide and long. If you're not use to wearing wool it might be a bit uncomfortable at first. Perfect for a costume and it's warm if you want to just use it for winter like I'm doing.The only small complaint that i have, as a perfectionist, is that the patch was sewn on rather carelessly. Don't get me wrong, it's defiantly stuck on that scarf good but the stitching is uneven and doesn't go around the patch as neatly as i would have liked. It doesn't go into the emblem or anything so it's really not a big deal.All in all i give it a 5 star, perfect for any Harry Potter and Slytherin House fan!

It says 100% lambs wool in the specs for the scarf.. twice. It is not. Its 100% Acrylic. But I only knocked it down 1 star because the scarf is actually pretty great. The logo is stitched on fine, its super soft and comfortable, its a good length, and its licensed merchandise. So for about 18$ its a good enough scarf, though it is not lambs wool as it so states two times..

I was worried that because of the material, it would be rather itchy or uncomfortable but was pleasantly surprised! It's comfortable, very warm, and long enough that I can wrap it around my neck comfortably. It's gorgeous and matches the beanie and necktie perfectly. It arrived in perfect condition and I wear it every time I leave the house- even in winter! Well worth the money.

Other reviewers claim that this scarf is intolerably itchy. I don't see any truth behind those claims. This quality scarf is made from 100% Lamb Wool and is extremely soft and well made. The colors are a bit more faded than I thought they would be, but I find that it only makes the scarf more flexible within my dark wardrobe. I would recommend this scarf to any Slytherin, especially if you live in a cold place like I do.

This is NOT the same as the Universal scarf they sell, or quality.The wool is nice, but it is a bit scratchy and itchy (have had it dry cleaned and have nit-picked strings out of it, came with them)Universal is acrylic, I find it softer and comfier.This version has darker colors (dark green, more or a grey than a silver)Universal is brighter (green with silver lining)There is the obvious price difference of this being $14.03 (as of 4/29/2013) versus Universal's $35This logo is a stitched on patch, rather than stitched into the scarf.This one's frills at the end are also stitched on with a patch rather than into the scarf.Looks alright but I do prefer the Universal one.The difference was so much to me that I actually bought the Universal scarf at the park AFTER I had this one for a few months (going on 6 now I think).Good for the price, but if you want true quality and to not be disappointed at all I'd just go for the Universal scarf.
