I saw this toy snake and thought it would be ridiculous, but my husband got it anyway. It actually is pretty good. Truly snakes and curves and moves all around. The only complaint is that we have a rug with a tall nap and it doesn’t catch the fiber. It does get stuck at the edge of the rug. However, it is on/smooth floors. It does pretty good and the cat seems to really enjoy it.

This toy has a poor wheel design. There is a lot of space in the "wheel well" so if there is any hair on your floor it will get picked up and wrap around the axel bogging down the wheel. Even though took apart the toy and cleaned out the axel twice it still managed to kill the motor in less than a month. I have one short haired cat that sheds a lot so I swiffer my hardwood floors 1-2x per week.Luckily it burned out within the return window so I'll be sending it back. They offered a replacement, but no thanks!Very sad because she liked it a lot and would try and paw at it when it was charging to get it to move!

This is cute and my cat seemed to like it, but I have a low nap rug and as soon as it hits the rug, it's done doesn't move anymore and it doesn't back itself up because it gets caught up on the rug. If you don't have carpeting , I think this would be a grea Toy for your cat.

GOOD: Easy to set up and charge. I almost missed the small power switch on the underside. It entertained my cats for several minutes, although they mostly just watched. It has "snake-like" motion as it moves across the floor. Works on a hard surface or thin indoor-outdoor carpet. Advanced features include:(a) an infrared obstruction-detector that reduces it being trapped;(b) a logic "escape" sequence to move around or away from obstructions;(c) automatic turn-off if it gets trapped;The toy moves w/ serpentine-motion until an obstruction is encountered. It will back-up and move left until an obstruction is met, then moves further left to continue its path. In this way it moves around a room. After a few minutes it "plays dead". If the cat touches it, it will start its motion again.BAD: Very noisy on a hard surface (eventhough the wheels are rubberized): less noisy on carpet. It does not work at all on thick carpet, as the wheels cannot get traction. The battery duration was 15-20min, but its easily recharged w/ USB.UGLY: I expect the lifetime to be short. Perhaps I will get a few dollars of entertainment from this.

When I bought this, my other half was concerned because apparently cats are terrified of snakes.We left the snake turned off, sat it on the floor and let the kitty cats explore. We weren't interested in getting a video of them jumping in fear for the sake of internet views.They were very curious and continue to be curious after we switch the tiny button into the on position and show the kitty cats what the snake really does. Moose quickly learned how to wake the snake back up when it stops moving. They knock it downstairs which is just hysterical. It kind of goes down like a slinky. Video coming I promiseI'm not a snake person I don't like it when this thing comes at me but as soon as it senses my feet it turns around. I am impressed by the incredible motion detection.This will not work on thick carpet, it will go slowly on very very thin carpet

My cats loved this toy, but it lasted about 10 minutes before it broke and stopped working.

It moves like a snake, it's eyes light up and it has a tiny tongue that darts I'm and out. Definitely worth the price and my cat likes it too.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for toys to brighten the days of the colony cats so many people walk past and ignore! Being an indoor cat owner and renter drowning in debt, i thought what could be better than grabbing an interactive toy for the cats and show these healthy walkers ignoring them all how it’s done. Old lady heather cat ran off quickly in horror and i thought i lost her forever. She said “screw this place. “ The other colony cats were in complete shock after hearing my constant words about everything outside being dangerous so how could i do this to them?! But i also lecture them to not eat the small creature and got tired of finding frog heads etc and catsplained to them how it can be considered a threat in the human world but also have to declare the area a crime scene and figure out if these innocent cats may have been possibly set up. I only spotted one cat named slater bring me a mouse one day and thinking afteward maybe he was asking me to try and save it! Who knowd what goes on, as i can’t stand seeing cats outside around gators and scary horrors. But regardless of the worlds nightmares, these cats deserve some fun because humans suck. And it is never their fault that they got abandoned being in the too many cats never enough homes nightmare catdemic of high rent increase and air b an b ruining the chance for any of us to be able to afford rent or animals anymore and watch people vacation. Good job merica. Here are your cats you sent to the land of the forgotten! P.s. instead of those fancy constant vacations. Spay neuter foster adopt. And show your kids how to be a hero instead of more zeros. Thanks for these toys! The cats love them even if my credit card is ruining my chances also. I didnt put these cats out there either.

The cat loves this thing and is always playing with it. I have really only one complaint with it and that is that dust and fuzz gets up into the wheels and then it stops working. It is easy enough though to disassemble to clean. It is small, so I had no expectation of a crazy long battery life. It recharges fast, the 'radar' function works great.
