Might be the perfect 2TB ssd
Fantastic SSD. made by the same company that makes the actual nand chips so it has to be good. Exceeds stated performance, and is cheaper than many ssds of the same capacity. I use these in my laptop, desktop, and server, and have never had any issues. Heat sink is recommended, but it is able to sustain good speeds without! Fits anywhere an NVMe M.2 should. Will buy more when chip shortages go down. The p51 is out (gen5 version) but is probably not worth it for 90% of people.

Wholly cheat!! It's fast and Cheep!!
It's fast, man. My PC boots from psu off to screen on it like 13-14 sec. It's got that D-ram. And its super CHEAP for a DRAM cache gen 4 SSD. Ot it was, that was s like 5-6.weeks ago. Good luck! SK Hynix is possibly the biggest memory chip manufacturer in the world. Some of the highest quality and fastest ram sticks ever produced were with SK Hynix chips. They were a commercial supplier for manufacturers, and now are selling direct to consumers. Crucial, Samsung and Hynix are the big three high quality chip brands. Its.cheaper and probably made with exact same DRAM cache as that WD or that Kingston or that Teamgroup or that Lexar...

Amazing SSD for the price
Incredibly fast and great price. It’s a standard 2280 NVMe so it was easy to install. I can’t believe it has all the features the Samsung evo pro has for almost half the price. I upgraded a dying ssd with 256gb to this one with 1TB so I’ve finally got plenty of space. Very happy with it.

Excellent product.
I have two of these running on the same computer. They are extremely fast, and I mean extremely fast, like at least 5,000 gbps. I'm using one for the operating system drive and another for the game drive. No issues whatsoever. The packaging is neat, the inside plastic is apparently biodegradable, so that's great too. Admittedly, I was upset when I noticed the arbitration sticker on the box, and I considered returning it. If you don't like the laws in the country you're doing business in, then don't do business there. Ultimately I decided to keep this product because I have experience with it and I know it's good because I've used the game drive for a couple of years and it runs perfectly fine. So when I see an arbitration clause taped to the box, I get the feeling that the product is not going to be reliable and the makers are trying to dodge responsibility. This is the kind of stuff you see car dealerships do. I took off a star for that.

Still running like new
Bought Jan 2024, started to slow down but the latest firmware fixed it right up.

Read reviews before deciding on this brand. It ranks one of the highest performance when it comes to gaming! However, the temperature can get quite high. I've added a low profile aluminum heatsink but the temperature is still around 46C at idle. My advice is to get an aftermarket heatsink to cool the drive down for anyone who is bothered by the temperature.

Good product. The only downside is the screw/parts are not included with the package.

It's been almost 12 years since I built a PC so a lot has changed. It's my first time using an M.2 SSD but this was VERY easy to install (I'd expect this is motherboard dependant). I got 2 Hynix sticks, one was a 1TB and one was a 2TB. They look the same in size etc and just slot straight in then secured. The sticks feel really well made and good quality but my research made me choose these over the Samsung 990s as it was better value for money. They were compatible with my build and I'd recommend PC Parts Picker to be sure before you buy. One thing to note is Hynix did release a firmware update as some users had reported issues with speed. It's very easy to apply just download the Hynix software and update and install onto your SSDs. The read write speeds are really fast with games loading within a minute from launch to getting into game, some as fast as 30-seconds depending on skippable cutscenes. I'm very impressed with the performance and despite my first time using Hynix, I'd highly recommend them!
