Over the past six to seven years, we have been thoroughly satisfied with our Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner. However, approximately a year ago, the battery began to deteriorate rapidly. Due to the high cost of Dyson vacuums, we have been forced to make do with the vacuum until a replacement battery becomes available.After conducting some research, I discovered that it was relatively straightforward to replace the battery in a Dyson vacuum. This made it an appealing option, and I decided to give it a try. The installation process was remarkably simple, requiring only three screws and eliminating the need for any wires.Once the battery was replaced, we were immediately impressed with the improved performance. The replacement battery provides significantly longer runtime, doubling the duration of the previous battery. Additionally, the battery’s performance is superior to that of the original Dyson battery.In conclusion, we are pleased with our decision to replace the battery rather than purchasing a new Dyson vacuum. This approach has proven to be a cost-effective solution that has allowed us to continue using our vacuum cleaner without interruptions.

Bought to replace my Dyson vacuum battery that no longer was holding a charge. This replacement worked as intended and was much lower in price than the brand name. Came with 2 filters as well with was a bonus. Would highly recommend!

This seemed like a good value price wise. So I took a chance. It fit fine and holds the charge properly. It lasts as long a previous one's did. Power is fine. I can't address longevity since I've only been using it for a month. So far so good.Update 8-27-22. So I have changed my review for a couple of reasons. The battery stopped working correctly after 9 months. It says 1 year warranty in their description. I messaged them and customer service gave me a list of things to try. After troubleshooting, it came down to problem with the contacts. Then customer service said it isn't under warranty but I could mail it back to China for a free repair. Then after I corrected them about the dates, they agreed that is was under warranty and offered me "$5 partial credit which was ridiculous.So I complained to Amazon Customer Service and was "floored" that they didn't care that there was a false description of there being a year warranty. Given that there is no description of any warranty (see last paragraph in description after click for more information) which to me means either repair or replacement within a year. They said I needed to take this up with the manufacturer (worthless). I pointed out I had no leverage but they basically offered me $5 courtesy credit. I told them to keep it. Buyer beware.

Retains charge fairly good.

It fit and works well. The only challenge is the model number and serial number is glued to old battery. To be fair, the same issue is true with the OEM replacement.

My Dyson was given to us for Christmas about 3 years ago. I love it. About 6 months ago the Dyson started exhibiting signs of a bad battery. It would pulse with use, and only work for a small time. You could squeeze the trigger to get it to go again but it got very tedious. I started looking for upgrades, but honestly did not want to fork over the cash for another vacuum at this time. I had this sitting in my cart for awhile and figured I'd give it a try before buying a new Dyson, worse case it was not the problem and I'd buy a new vacuum on Black Friday sale. Low and behold, it worked like a charm. My Dyson is fixed. It runs BETTER then it did on the old battery even when it was newer.TLDR:Pros-It worksIt works BETTER in some cases than the original.It's...pretty?Cons-It doesn't greet me when I come home personally. I can get over that, it's just a battery after all.Just the Tips:If you are having issues like I described above and really don't want to buy a whole new vacuum--try this fix first.
