Awesome shucking knife.
I'm not a professional, but this knife made shucking oysters incredibly easy. The curved tip really helps to get the knife into place, and the thumb and finger grooves give you a solid grip. Plus, the knife is sharp enough to quickly cut through the muscle attaching the oyster to the shell. It's extremely solidly built, as well.

Nice shucker!
I'm not a professional, but this knife works pretty darn well on small to medium oysters. Comfortably shaped handle and slightly bent tip makes popping the oysters open a breeze.

Best Ever Oyster Knife
I had several oyster knives before finding this brand and this one is far superior. I recently bought one for my son as well.

Product quality - poor
It's a very nice product however, the blade tip is prone to bending. I didn't realize that when I purchased it. This is an item that is not used every day. After several uses the tip bent, I tried to get Amazon to replace however they said it was beyond the 30-day period and I should go to the manufacturer. I did that but they would not replace it because I did not buy directly from them.

Worth every penny! Think of all the time you'll save...
I've been struggling with a CHESAPEAKE BAY OYSTER KNIFE for years. Silly me. This knife was recommended by a Whole Foods oyster monger. Glad I listened; the Toadfish is insanely superior to any other knife I've ever used. It finds the hinge with little effort, a real time saver. I was surprised by the quality of the knife, given it was made in china.
