EDIT!!I was recently involved in a laboratory accident where a waste container of concentrated acid exploded in my face. I was wearing these goggles and my eyes and vision were unharmed. The right side of my face is now burned. I even managed to make my way to the ER. These goggle saved my vision. Always wear safety goggles. I had to throw away that pair, but I will be purchasing 2 new ones right now!--------I use these glasses habitually in my college chemistry labs. For years I have used those awful, steamy, cheap plastic, bulky goggles they sell in the school store. These glasses pass the requirement for safety glasses to have "side-splash" protection, so these can be used for most laboratory applications. The lenses are very clear! I keep them in my backpack with no case and they hold up well with minimal scratches.I've attached a "granny chain" thing to the ends of the glasses so I can hang them around my neck when not needed.I know dewalt is a power tool company, but other common laboratory glasses look exactly the same as these ones. These glasses have awesome yellow tips, so I always know which are mine!5 stars for ease of use, safety, price and it looks pretty!

Good goggles to buy, protects the eyes while working.

I got my pair in perfect condition with no scratches on it, and the clear plastic is ridiculously easy to see through. They fit my head perfectly, and are very comfortable. Unfortunately, I'm power sanding (I bought these to keep the dust from shooting straight into my eyes), and so I'm also wearing a protective mask to prevent me from breathing all the bad stuff in. This means when I breathe out, my breath goes straight out of the top of the mask at the bridge of my nose, which fogs these glasses up immediately. Every time I breathe out, my field of vision gets blocked. I would like to contribute this to my mask being too full of dust from the air for my breath to escape how it's designed to, but I'm not sure. They appear to be of good quality, and they definitely are worth the price.
