The oral care sponge swabs, with their long and sturdy sticks, did the job well. I tested each one before use by pulling firmly, and none of the sponge tips came off. Used for oral care in a home setting for a palliative patient. While not individually wrapped, so not suitable for formal healthcare settings, but they are practical and effective for home use.

My dad was admitted to hospital recently for 4 weeks, and for the majority of his stay he was placed on Oxygen through a face mask.I noticed after the first couple of days his lips was dry, cracked and looked sore.I asked the nurse for some of these sponges to dip in some water and stop his lips and mouth from feeling so dry.I thought they would come in useful at home aswell when he uses his nebuliser.Was a bit disappointed that this whole bag come as loose sponges.These sponges are designed for oral use, I was expecting at least every 3 or 5 sticks in a sealed protective sterile packet?Not just 100 shoved in a plastic bag?Not very hygienic at all...

I liked this product because it was just the right size to moisten my mouth after my mouth operation .
