Impressed and excellent value
The corded Miele died precisely on its 5th birthday (motor started smoking and then died). Rather annoyed as it was fairly pricey (and still is) but, hey-ho. I had been eying the cordless stick vacs for a while (have had a couple of Dyson handhelds over the years) but wasn't too sure whether they'd manage the daily punishment. Having had, and still own, a number of Bosh/Siemens appliances I decided to take advantage of an offer on this vacuum cleaner which made it a bargain (half of the cost to replace the Miele); even in the event that I didn't like it too much and decided to give it to one of the kids. To cut to the chase: It's quite excellent. Great suction, aided by the power brush, and even on 'eco' setting is more than adequate for daily cleaning. In this mode it will cover 8 medium/large rooms (mix of wood/tiles and carpet) and still have 2 bars of the battery left (obviously the bars are just indicative and will 'cliff-edge' flip between charge levels). I initially tried 'auto' (which seems to alternate between 'eco' and 'turbo' settings, depending on the surface friction) and this ran out in the 10th area. The components are easily interchangeable and the bin/receptacle is easy enough to empty (I think this procedure could be slightly improved - but it's fine once you get the hang of it). Suction-wise (to return to the important bit) I am very impressed - it's at least as good as its corded, powerful, predecessor - probably better. It is also quieter and far more manoeuvrable. It comes with two 18v 3Amp batteries and a fast charger (40 mins or so from empty). When connected to the docking station (see pic) it trickle charges - and this will take, let's say, overnight to charge an empty battery (I haven't bothered checking- it's full in the morning) - to top up from the daily clean it takes about 3 hours to trickle-fill from two bars. In summary - I'm very pleased with this new bit of domestic equipment. It's well-designed and of good (Bosh) quality. I have bought the Mini Turbo Nozzle just for the convenience of doing the stairs and furniture, but it does come with a nice array of accessories.

Best vacuum cleaner I've ever had
This vacuum cleaner is super efficient but due to it's extremely good powerful suction I guess if you are a bit on the frail side a less powerful model might possibly suit you better but having said that it's very lightweight to carry around and take up and down stairs. By the way I am a 73 year old woman with osteo arthritis and I manage to use this vacuum cleaner without any problems and It certainly cleans my house a lot better than any other cordless vacuum I have used. The spare battery that comes with this model is really handy and although the dust container is quite small it is very easy to clean out especially the filter. I would definitely recommend!

Better than my old Dyson, but missing one key accessory
Bought this two months ago. So much better than my old Dyson (Animal v7), the power level is noticeably stronger and it picks up much better. Used in a three bed two storey house with a mix of wooden, carpeted and rug floors, the Auto setting works very well. Battery life not as good as the Dyson, but that’s only to be expected as it feels more powerful. However, it comes with two batteries so no problem! Would have been a five star review but for one niggle - the floor head is large, too large for small areas and stairs, and a smaller head is not included in the accessories. I had to buy one separately for £50 hence dropping a star for value. Other than that, it’s the best vacuum I’ve owned and I am definitely now a Bosch convert.

Light on weight tough on dust and dirt.
I really like this vacuum cleaner, it is light when using it or carrying up and down stairs. The battery lasts a reasonable time, however, I bought the machine with two batteries so I always one battery fully charged ready if the battery should run out which hasn’t happened yet. I also like the easiness of turning the machine into a hand held cleaner especially for stairs it’s just a couple of clicks. I also like having a bag less machine when it’s so easy to empty the container. The best thing of all this machine really does what it has been designed to do it’s a great cleaner. ,

Lots of suction, battery life is good
Compared to others tried recently and a G-Tec unit I've had for several years, the Bosch Unlimited 7 is brilliant. Eco mode is good enough for most quick cleans. High power mode really great suction. Getting the 2 batteries is a good idea if you have a larger house as you don't have to wait for a recharge. A little on the heavy side, buy then you get used to it and its a better workout 😉. Not yet fitted the wall mount so can't say how well that will work, but the wall mount is smaller than others I have seen or had in the past, so should make this easy to fit in most homes and not take up too much space. Supplied tools are great, its a doddle to empty and to clean. All in all a great unit that comes in way less in price than an equivalent Dyson or latest Shark. Has the power when needed and one full battery will easily do a decent sized 4 bedroom home with battery to spare.

Disappointed
Disappointed that it didn't meet expectations, but expectations were high. I've had the product 2 weeks, Has a tendency to block easily and it also feels like the filter gets full very easily rather than passing the dust into the waste collection area. When its blocked, it then spits back the dust it collected. Then the filter is not so easy to clean, I'm logging on to buy a new filter but they dont seem readily available from the manufacturer, only substitute non branded parts. I Expected a filter to last a lot longer than 2 weeks. The soft trap between the collection waste area and the spout also tends to go the wrong way and need to be fiddled with to get it right. As per the video, when the filter is full full it gets blocked and suction is non existent, hence thinking I need to replace it already. To remove the dust from the filter itself, it gets in the air so best doing this outside. Ideally you'd put it under water to remove but the unit says dont do that. So factor in filters to the cheaper cost of this unit. On the good side though, the reason i bought it was the ability to swap out batteries and use the same battery as my drill. I also like the long flexible straight bit which is perfect for cleaning under and around your car seat. So all and all, and while the video does show lack of suction at times and it needs to be fiddled with a lot (maybe i just got a bad filter on my new one - i hope) I do like the unit because of the batteries being an innovative idea and the accessories to make cleaning the car easy.

Great cordless vacuum at a decent price
Love this good battery life as you get a spare on, great suction, noise level is ok and is a great cordless we used to have another brand beginning with D and this is so much better, it has a swivel head and the you can touch a button which enables it to go under cupboard and makes it easier to clean.

Works really well, but the HEPA filter is a nuiscance.
We've had ours almost a year now, used VERY frequently. Pros: Good suction, easy to empty, I like that knee in the middle that bends to get under furniture easily. Cons: Even with a small house, you'll need 2 batteries and an external charger, in my opinion. On days where you do the whole house it'll use up about 1 and a half batteries. The wall bracket works and such, but I found the cable routing unintuitive.. and my biggest pet peeve of all is the red hepa filter. The instructions say not to blow it or wash it etc., but this thing gets absolutely caked with the finest dust you can imagine, robbing the machine of suction. Bosch says it never needs replacing and as such as far as I can see they don't even sell replacements, you need third party replacement. The maintenance of the filter is to turn the ring and it 'vibrates' the dust out of the filter, but again IMO it's not enough. The dust released from the filter is very fine and light, so you have to do it outside lest you get this dust every-freaking-where in your house. Doing it outside at least releases it to the atmosphere, but do hold your breath when doing it please. I often bang mine out to get the dust off, but today I even used a small blower, which I know you're not supposed to do with hepa filters, but whatever. The vacuum now works like new again. So the answer is replace the filter with a third party or blow it out like you're not supposed to. That said, I still like it. Just need to keep these things in mind.
