Passed all tests
I have purchased about 25 of theses renewed 5-year warranty 4TB, 8TB and now this 10TB HDDs. In general, I have been very pleased with the HDD's. However, the last two renewed 8TB HDD's I received were both defective. Both those HDD's passed the Quick test, but failed the Extended test. Both passed the Quick Format, but Failed on the Long Format option which checks the HDD block by block. It took about 25 hours to run the Extended test on this 10TB HDD on my computer, but it passed the test. Better to run that Extended test before you put a bad HDD into your system and have it fail a few weeks or months down the road when it might be loaded with data. I have only had a few renewed HDD's fail, after about 1 year, but they were quickly replaced because I kept all my receipts and warranty info. I use these renewed HDDs in my Home Media Center NAS and as backups. Great value for the money.

Drive failed after about a year and seller is refusing to honor the warranty
Drive failed after a little over a year. Currently trying to go through the warranty process. Will update depending on outcome. Edit: seller gave me a refund under warranty for the drive. This rating is purely because of the seller. The drive itself was a disappointment.

Not ideal...
Ordered x3 of these. Arrived in about 2 weeks, later than Amazon said it would. HDDs arrived well packaged, but had a sticker saying "If seal is broken, do not accept" and ... the seal was broken. Additionally, Crystal Disk Info said they had 68,000-58,000 hours use with less than 50 spin downs. That's like 7 years constant use. Because of the heavy use, the drives no longer spin-down at idle when mounted to a Linux system running HD-IDLE set to spin down in 1 minute of inactivity. So, they keep spinning and generate a lot of heat. This is common for HDDs that are on their last leg. Amazon issued me a refund, but I am wishing that I bought new because I am not sure if I can use these w/o risking serious data loss down the line. I suppose they'd be OK for a backup solution, but not much more.

For Many Applications As Good As A New Drive
Not sure if this is a Helioseal drive or not but it runs cool and relatively quiet. Has a lot of hours on it and that is expected since it is a pull. I use these drives for archiving video files 1-30Gb in size. These drives handle continuous transfers without slowing down or choking. Standard consumer drives always slow down with large file transfers. They used to sell these with more than a 90 day warranty and I miss the longer warranty yet these drives are good value and well worth purchasing as archival drives.

Two drives bought, one working as expected, one not
Drives arrived in excellent packaging and condition, which was better than some of the reviews I had read from other customers. Both drives looked clean and unused. On to the application: 1. Drive #1 - I was able to copy over my data, replace the drive physically, and its running as expected (will update if it fails and when). Audibly louder than previous drives, but in the long term its not a factor for my use for it. 2. Drive #2 - I was able to copy over my data, but then the drive developed the "click of death" and was no longer accessible. I tried using different power sources, known working SATA cables and lastly a external hard drive tool to connect VIA USB, and all resulted in the "click of death". Ultimately I submitted for a replacement drive. I'll update when the replacement arrives.

No errors found
This is a refurbished drive. Rather, it is a drive that was in a data center for some period of time and decommissioned. It arrived sealed in a electrostatic sealed package in what looks like original drive shipping materials. Considering the price is about half that of a new drive and that I am using the drive for cold storage, I am okay with getting a drive that was pulled from a datacenter. I did an initial format of the drive and a full system backup of a 10TB array and the drives had no errors or problems.

I love these drives
I picked up a couple of 8TB HGST drives, and they worked great. I picked up a pair of these to act as the parity drives for my Unraid set. I have no issues with the drive; everything was as advertised, and the drives passed their SMART tests. One caveat with these drives is that they are loud when under load. This isn't a problem for me because my NAS is in a closet, and I don't hear the drives, but if you are placing your NAS close to your computer, you will want to sound proof your case a little.

Lots of hours of use but only 200 power cycles, so I expect it to last a while ...nice quality /quiet

Power on hours 39190 (4y, 5m, 19d, 22h) Seems to be in working condition. Did a preclear and everything seems to be just fine?

I purchased three 10TB hard drives for my NAS system. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with their performance. They operate quietly, although there is a periodic click due to PWL, which is normal and nothing to be concerned about. In terms of performance, these drives deliver excellently, and I couldn't find a better price elsewhere. However, since they are refurbished, there's always a slight risk of failure, but that's the case with any hard drive, even brand new ones. To mitigate this, I have set up RAID 5 on my NAS. Additionally, the reseller provided an additional 5-year warranty, which provides some peace of mind. Unfortunately, one of the drives failed after just 4 months of use. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness of the customer service team. I contacted them and received prompt support. The reseller, Evrymm, quickly issued a refund with minimal hassle; they only required the serial number for verification. I'm extremely satisfied with their service, so much so that I immediately purchased two more drives from them. I highly recommend them based on my positive experience.

I bought this revised 10TB HHD. The first couple of days it worked fine. But then suddenly it stopped working and started to make clicking/scratching noises. I lost over 3TB of files because of that. So I am very unhappy with this drive and decided to return it.
