Simple, works well.
I've had it on since 2020, and it hasn't had a problem. Bought a newer Jeep, and once I decided on a bumper and winch, I'll get another one for it.

Works great
The main problem with many if not most after market front bumper particularly winch bumpers is they aren't really very front license plate friendly. When you live in a state where fronts are required it can be a pain. On my old truck, I just got it on there and bent the plate so a cop could see it...and I could not easily get the winch line out. AND there are fewer choices on how to address this than you might think. And many of them are cheap or kind of awkward. So, the license plate goes on this easy. but it doesn't necessarily fit the holes in the bumper that are on the device. The bumper is heavy steel. I'm not drilling through it so, I managed to get accurate marks on this and drilled holes so it fit perfect over the winch line fairlead. It sits out away from the truck just far enough for the line and fairlead AND flips up nicely when using the winch. The spring set up is robust enough that it has gone about 10K miles now straight on into the wind and its right there without pushing in or blowing out. I have zero complaints especially after that first one I jury rigged for like three years. And, an OK price but when you try the alternatives, it is a great deal. Some engineer or practical guy thought this one through when designing.

This is cheap (in both price and construction) and not a particularly elegant solution... and that is completely fine. All I needed was a place to mount the plate that could be moved easily and this has perfectly fit the bill. I used rivets instead of bolts on both the plate and hinge. If someone wants the plate, they'll need to rip it off (then in which case why steal it?) or drill out the rivets. The hinge has stood up to several bumps and still works fine. The paint seems adequate after several CO winters (but stored inside). Why buy one of those fancy $150 solutions when this works just fine for $25... use the extra money for gas and go somewhere you might actually have to flip this thing up!

Works well if you live in a state where you need a license plate in front.
I was unsure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I love in a state where a front license plate is mandatory. I recently installed a Rampage recovery bumper but didn’t want to drill holes into a brand new bumper to install the license plate.Searched for options and came across this. Flip up license plate holder. Install was 2 minutes and it works great. I have a Smittybuilt rope winch and needed to run the hook from the fairlead to a recovery shackle (which I was going to do anyway) as there is not enough room behind the mounting plate You will Not be able to use any Factor 55 hardware with this license plate mount as there is not enough room behind the license plate to store the splicer/ProLinkAll in all I am very satisfied in this mount. It works well stays out of the way. Time will tell how it holds up to NJ winters but 5 stars for now.

Great license plate mounting solution for use with winch
This simple but genius part is awesome. It’s a great solution for states that require a front license plate while running a winch. This maintains the front plate and it easily flips up and out of the way when you need to use the winch for recoveryIt very easy to install and feels sturdy for the application. This solution costs much less than a lot of the other options I’ve seen on the market and serve the same purpose.

Easy Set-Up!
I was reluctant on buying but decided to give it a shot. Worse case scenario I’d return for refund. Tried different scenarios on set-up but when dialed in it was perfect! Easily mounts to ARB bumper and Warn winch.

Worked for my Bronco
I have an after market bumper and in Illinois you have to have front license plate which sucks. Using this I was able to attach to splash panel and tighten it to stay in one position and it worked out great!
