Unique gift item
I purchased these to give to a nephew for his birthday. He loves the Beatles and "Yellow Submarine" is his favorite of their songs, so it was the perfect unique item to give him.

Beatles Fans Will Love These!
The Theory 11 "Yellow Submarine" tribute deck is a wonderful collectible as well as a very playable set of cards. All the Aces, Jokers, and Faces feature characters from the animated movie with a psychedelic collage as the back design. (The number cards do not have artwork related to the movie.) There's a very limited palette used here, which reminds me of the old Sunday Funnies that used to come with newspapers. I think that's appropriate, btw. All of the artwork seems to have been created specifically for this deck and don't rely on the cliched poses from the album cover. I think the artwork here looks absolutely great!For the curious, this is a totally different "Yellow Submarine" deck than the older deck published by Aquarius. That deck featured stills from the movie on every single card. If you're a collector you'll likely want both. Personally, I prefer this one just because it looks and feels far more unique to me.
