Fresh dry product
Fresh medium brown almonds adequately packed to maintain freshness and dryness. Same like any nuts, should be eaten within expiry date. Subtly aromatic, it is good to use for baking or Indian cooking.

Very Basic. Not suitable for health supplement
I purchased this based on positive reviews on Amazon, but overall it is just OK-OK kind mixed bag. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED if you want almonds as a health supplement. POSITIVES: 1) Price-wise OK - similar to price in local groceries with the benefit of doorstep delivery by Amazon 2) Taste is OK-OK 3) Suitable only for crushing & sprinkling - like on top of ice-creams or mango-shakes. NEGATIVES: 1) It is a mixed bag of variety of almond quality. Some are very small, some medium sized, & only a few (5-6) are of large size. (The large size ones are considered the best in quality & taste) 2) If wanting to use them for health benefits, then these should be avoided. For health benefits, large-sized, thick & bulky ones are best (like in many Ayurveda recommendations) 3) Some almonds are so small that they appear to be taken from other fruits. The seed/pits of apricots, nectarines, peaches and plums all contain a kernel that looks & tastes astonishingly like an almond, but they are not really almonds. The peeled one in the attached pic is one such example. Overall, ok for decoration, not for taste & definitely not as a health supplement. Recommendation for seller - additionally launch another pack with large-sized, better quality, local Indian almonds at a slightly higher price for those who want that.
