Definitely works!!
Last November I had discovered sugaring, a wax you can make on the stove that requires no cloth strip. I absolutely loved the results & I prefer it to using liquid hot wax. BUT it's a pain to make, very tedious & easy to over cook. When I saw these beads I figured I'd try them as an alternative (to remove the process of having to also make the wax before the process of actually using the wax)Bc I highly 100% prefer sugaring over traditional waxing, hands down without a doubt, & bc these beads are essentially the same as sugaring only slightly different- I'll draw out pros/consSugaring Vs These beads whichever has the " ** " is the the one that wins lolSugar: messy tedious process to makeBeads: come ready to use **Sugar: generally doesn't require a strip, goes on as a sticky solid but has a tendency to melt from your body heat, causing it to stick to the skin during removal. When this happens, I'll have to use a strip to remove it. When this happens/sugar wax melts, making it impossible to remove, it's painful & causes bruisingBeads: go on as a liquid but becomes a hard solid within seconds- almost instantly - so it doesn't get stuck to the skin - I waxed my arm pits & both legs w/o a single bruise using the beads **Sugaring: very messyBeads: very messySugaring: is made using only sugar water & lemon juice. To clean it off of any surface only requires warm water so it's VERY EASY to clean. You can clean it off any surface w/a rag then rinse the rag in the sink without worrying about clogging the drains bc of how easily it melts **Beads: instantly harden, so it plasters itself onto any surface it's on. I tried microwaving the bowl/utensils I used with it to soften the wax but still could not remove it entirely! I tried wiping it off while melted (burning my hands a few times) using paper towels, wax paper, a cloth towel & even aluminum foil but I could not get it off completely bc of how quick it hardens. So whatever you use to melt & apply - make sure it's stuff you're willing to only ever use again in the future for waxing bc you won't be able to eat from any bowls or spoons used (unless there's another way to remove it that I'm just not familiar with)Actually, I just checked the spoon & butter knife I used which I left to soak over night - the wax did come off easier than before soaking but I had to bang them on the counter to get the wax to break off, causing it to fly everywhere so it's definitely a draining process to clean & even still, it's not entirely removed. I'm worried it'll clog my drain as well. so be sure to use materials you're prepared to dedicate solely to this purpose. Sugaring: definitely removes hair & a lot of it - though again, has a tendency to melt & wherever it does this, you'll need to wipe area clean & reapply to remove the hair the melted wax missed on the first tryBeads: also super efficient in removing hair! But with the beads, any tiny bits of wax left on the skin, no matter how small, will rip off hairs as well while whatever's left behind from sugaring often does not remove any hair when you go back to get it off. So absolutely none of this beaded wax will come off of you w/o yanking out a hair with it which is awesome bc it hurts to wax the same area twice to get any remaining hairs (perhaps partly to blame for the bruising I get from sugaring?) **Sugaring: you need to apply a liberal amount for successful hair removalBeads: even the absolute thinnest layer, a layer so thin you can see the hairs sticking straight up through the topside of the layer, will successfully remove all hairs it's in contact with. Their motto should be "no hair left behind" lol **In all, while I 100% prefer sugaring to traditional waxing, I now prefer this bead wax over sugaring. If the clean up weren't such a nightmare, I'd give this product 5 stars. The trade off between the two are:Sugaring is practically free to make bc who doesn't have access to water sugar & lemon juice at any given time? Beads I'll have to pay for. But, cooking the sugar is a tedious process (& too easy to over cook/ruin, having to start over again & again) that I can bypass by paying a few bucks for beads, so I'd say it's an even trade off.The sugar wax is so easy to clean whereas the beads are not, however, it's the tendency of the sugar to melt easily (which makes for easy cleanup) that also causes bruising & unnecessary pain - meanwhile, it's the instant hardening of this bead wax (which makes cleanup so difficult) that also works to prevent this type of injury so I'd rather struggle to clean up after waxing vs having to deal w/my armpits burning for 24hrs, making it uncomfortable to wear a bra & painful to apply deodorant. As for any waxing method being any less painful than the next, that's garbage!! That's like someone saying their tattoos didn't hurt (I can't stand those ppl) LIES!!Just like constant needle jamming of the tattoo process, yanking hairs out of your body from the root HURTS no matter what you use to yank them out!! ESPECIALLY when you're yanking out thousands of hairs from one concentrated area of the body all at one time (my knees, thighs & shins were miserable!!!!! In fact, the entire leg was miserable) so do not believe anything or anyone that claims it's any less painful Bc that's a complete & utter lie!!Although, the pain doesn't last anymore than a few seconds, minutes at most, & sure beats the discomfort of razor burn!!!I really hope taking the time to write all of this out in such detail helps at least one person- I try to leave the most detailed reviews for others that are the types of reviews I'm looking for to help me choose whether or not to buy a product. W/that said, something I can not stand about reviews is when I'm looking for the results of a product in the pictures ppl attach to their review (ya know, proof the product actually does what it claims) only to see images of the product itself!! Taking a picture of the actual product does absolutely nothing in terms of telling or showing me WHY I SHOULD SPEND MY MONEY on said product, I don't care about the "pretty or ugly packaging" I care about wasting my money on something that's promising me it'll provide results that it doesn't actually follow through with! When will reviewers realize how useless those reviews are?! Ugh...anyway, so as gross (yet fascinating - like that blackhead popping YouTube videos lol) as it is, I'm attaching images of this wax w/tons of hairs on it that were ripped out of my armpits & legs. (I am Sicilian & waited a good 2 weeks to use this so I could review it for you guys - being Sicilian paired w/how well this product works, you could probably make a coat of my used wax lol)One image in particular is being shared to show how even the tiniest bit of this wax (when I went back to remove bits left behind) had still yanked out a couple more hairs! I'm telling ya, if this is applied to any hairs, no matter how thinly or how little is applied, whatever hairs it's touching will not survive the removal - they're coming off whether they or you like it or not so be VERY careful to pay close attention to where you're applying this wax lolFor the record, I think it took just as much time to get a pic in which you could see exactly how much hair was removed as I had actually waxing lol I enhanced one pic to really highlight the significant amount of hair that was on the strip lol

This product is terrible, it does not remove hair
This product is terrible, it does not remove hair. No matter how hot or how long you let it set on you, it doesn't do the job it is suppose to.
