Jack Stratton
Read all Stratton books. Fell in love with the characters. Sometimes the story was too rough to be believed, nevertheless loved all of them

Intriguing
I guess this was one of the best of his Stratton series. Had me hooked. A good and interesting read.

Good captive book. Once started, I did not feel like leaving it even for one moment. This was my first read of the series.

A shoddily written "happy ending".
Jack & Alice are about to get married. But when Jack saves a former co-worker from a certain death, he uncovers the existence of a serial killer who is targetting him & Alice. Or is it just Alice?A badly written book is a badly written book, no matter who writes it. Christopher Greyson uses every tired cliche & trope in this book.Jack's ex Marisa is in this book, even though she had no business being here. Jack does not see why Alice is mad about it, but then, Alice herself doesn't understand Jack's animosity against Pierce, who is turning the marriage into a lavish affair. Then, we have Finn & Annie in the book. A crossover could have occurred here, but it doesn't. Finn & Annie are just side characters here. It is hard to believe that Finn & Jack are friends, not just former co-workers.On the other hand, the women have at least a lukewarm chemistry, which is more than what can be said about the men. And speaking of women, Alice behaves like a stereotypical dumb woman in a slasher movie. As if all that was not bad enough, Alice is introduced to her paternal family. Let's just say that with family like this, you don't need enemies. It is clear that Mr. Greyson is running out of story ideas. Now, a word about the exes. Why does Jack team up with Marisa, of all the people, to solve the mystery, is beyond me. Pierce is not Alice's ex, but here is a spoiler: If he had done a proper background check on his employees, the killer would have been arrested much earlier. If I have given this book one star, it is because it still managed to keep me guessing the killer's identity till the end. I DID NOT see it coming. That being said, I will probably not be reading any Jack & Alice mysteries in future.

Christopher Greyson delivers an action packed story. Lots of twists and turns to keep you interested and Jack of Diamonds is no exception. I have read every Jack Stratton book and have enjoyed everyone of them. Each books leaves me wanting more.

Excellent
I thoroughly enjoyed this, it’s gripping & at times couldn’t put it down & I can highly recommend. Not to sure what to expect in the next instalment now things have changed so much. I really hope they continue to be as good as the previous books. Hope we don’t have to wait to long Jack & Alice are my favourites of them all.
